Final Fantasy Series Sales Top 203 Million - Sales

Square Enix last month announced the Final Fantasy series has sold over 203 million units worldwide.
This figure is up from 200 million units sold as of March 2025.
"The Square Enix group of companies boasts a valuable portfolio of intellectual property including: Final Fantasy, which has sold over 203 million units worldwide; Dragon Quest, which has sold over 94 million units worldwide; and the legendary Space Invaders," reads the About Square Enix section.
The most recent entry in the Final Fantasy series, Final Fantasy XVI, released for the PlayStation 5 in June 2023, for PC in September 2024, and for the Xbox Series X|S in June 2025.
It was previously announced the Dragon Quest series had surpassed 94 million units sold.
