Starfield Concept Art is About Discovering 'Unique Environments' That are 'Abundant With Life' - News

Publisher Bethesda Softworks and developer Bethesda Game Studios via Twitter have released brand-new concept art for the upcoming space RPG, Starfield.
The tweet teases that players during their travels in the game will "discover many unique environments, some lush and abundant with life." This does suggest there will be many unique looking worlds to explore in the game.

Bethesda Game Studios director Todd Howard in an interview last month said that Skyrim is part of their DNA and described the upcoming space RPG as "Skyrim in space."
"I think it’s part of our DNA," Howard said. "Those things that we like- being able to touch the world, and what are you looting from people, what are the factions… I think there is more Skyrim in terms of game structure in Starfield. Now that you mention it, the way the factors work.
"The skill system [in Skyrim] is really, really like the skill system in Starfield, and it follows a bit from things we’ve done in Fallout and Elder Scrolls. So I think this is part of our DNA. You’re gonna see those hallmarks in anything we do that is kind of a mainline Bethesda game."
Starfield will launch for the Xbox Series X|S and PC on November 11, 2022.

Starfield is going to be amazing. I could tell.
100%! I've never seen BGS be this excited about a project of theirs. Especially with the amount of teasers they've been dropping. It's like developing a new IP was exactly what they needed to get their creativeness really going again. With Todd saying Starfield will be a "hardcore RPG" more akin to their Morrowind days, has me insanely excited!

Strangely I'm not sold/excited by what they've shown so far but the reality of Skyrim in Space is going to make this a must have. This is a dream game for me. I put off buying a Series X this winter because 2022 is still looking sparse for games I'm interested in (It'd essentially be a Halo box with tibits of Forza for 9months) but add Starfield to the mix and I'll finally be won over.
Need this after Mass Effect Andromeda.....

I just hope it isn't like Fallout 4, but in space.
The Outer Worlds is the only incredible sci fi open world rpg we had in a long time. Not as Sci Fi as I would have liked though.
