Animal Crossing: New Horizons Retakes First on the Swiss Charts, EA Sports UFC 4 Debuts in Sixth - Sales

Animal Crossing: New Horizons (NS) has retaken first place on the Switzerland charts, according to SwissCharts.com for the 33rd week of 2020.

Ghost of Tsushima (PS4) after four weeks at the top has dropped to second place for a second week. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (NS) remains in third place. Ring Fit Adventure (NS) climbs four spots to take fourth place. Paper Mario: The Origami King (NS) drops one spot to take fifth place.

EA Sports UFC 4 was the only new game in the top 10 as it debuted in sixth place.

There are a total of five Nintendo Switch exclusives in the top 10, one PS4 exclusive, and four multiplatform games.

Here are the top 10 best-selling games in Switzerland for Week 33, 2020:

Kinda expected, at this time of the year sales tend to be low as many PS/Xbox gamers are waiting for the holiday sales/releases.
Even tho, AC is a HUGE success.

AC is this biggest beast we have seen in this generation. 5 months now and still dominating across all regions. The same cant be said for any exclusive we have seen since the release of PS4 and XB1.

I think the last game for consoles on a similar scale was Grand Theft Auto 5, and that was over six years ago. Time will tell if New Horizons sells another 10+ million in 2021 like GTA5 did in 2014...

AC is one of the biggest exclusive games of all time. It already outsells almost all exclusives and most best selling multiplatform games. For example it sold more than Ghost of Tsushima, Last Of Us 2 and Final Fantasy Remake put together.

I thought MMA was pretty much dead after the whole Khabib/Mcgreggor bannings and the departure of Rhonda Rousey. Anyway, it doesn’t surprise me that the recent game bombed.
