The Last of Us Part II is Most Pre-Ordered PlayStation Game Ever in Brazil After Passing God of War - News

The PlayStation 4 exclusive, The Last of Us Part II, is two weeks away from release and is looking to have a very strong launch.
The Last of Us Part II has set a new record as it is now the most pre-ordered PlayStation exclusive ever in Brazil, surpassing the previous record holder 2018's God of War, according to IGN Brazil.
The physical special edition is sold out in Brazil, however, the standard edition remains available. Both editions are available digitally through the PlayStation Store.
Creative director Neil Druckmann recently said the game will be a heavy hitter emotionally. Naughty Dog wanted to "elicit certain feelings from the player and then have them reflect on those feelings for the second part," according to Druckmann.
The original The Last of Us has sold over 20 million units when you combine the PS3 and PS4 versions. The PS3 version has sold over eight million units, while the PS4 version has sold around 12 million units.

Bigger than Spiderman, damn? It will be a behemoth of a game and the leaks won't hurt the game sales in any significant way. Playstation Studios has a new record on it's way and probably their best selling game in history.
Personally, as someone very interested in TLOU2 who pre-ordered last year, I'd like to thank this game's many premature detractors for making developments like this possible. Controversy appears to be, if anything, perhaps actually helping pre-order numbers by generating more media attention and increased public interest.
@Jaicee: I'm even on Sony's side for trying to take down many clickbaiters spreading misinformation ,i know political agenda exists(like there is a bit in all games) but it firstly is not all negative or evenly negative and to go to extremes as that SJW agenda ruined it is stupid when you do not have all information about said game.
So far FFVIIR is the king on PS4 with the biggest opening exclusive.
Can't wait to see if it'll top it or not.

It was a little boring but I done all... I'm on chapter 16 on Hard, so close to end and also need to do the two super boss to get my plat.
I hope it sells great,it most likely will be a great developed game.
Will play it at some point, probably on ps5 and on an used copy.
