US video games industry analyst at The NPD Group Mat Piscatella has the list of the top 10 best-selling horror games in the US of all time. The Resident Evil dominates the charts with seven games in the list and four of the top five games.

Resident Evil 5 is the best-selling horror game in the US of all time, followed by Resident Evil 4 and Dying Light in second and third, respectively. Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard round out the top five.

With all the shade people throw at RE5, it's still the best selling RE title. One of my all time favorites and best co op experiences i had last gen.

I can agree with this, it may have been a bad resident evil game but it was an awesome game. I played the hell out of it as well and co op was great. Co op is just bad for a horror game lol

RE 6 was a horror game. It made me horrified that I bought it.
