Battlefield V Adds Four New Maps This Summer, Pacific War in Autumn - News

Battlefield V players have recently been enjoying a brand new map called Mercury, but that was just the start of several waves of free content for EA's shooter. Now the publisher and DICE have unveiled even more additions to their game in an extensive roadmap detailed on the Battlefield Blog.
As soon as June 27th, all Battlefield players will be able to experience the scorching heat of Al Sudan, a wide North African map focused on vehicle warfare. After finishing the campaign chapter "Under No Flag", DICE thought that the map design would fit a multiplayer mode, and decided to adapt it to online play.
Like Mercury, Marita is a map located in Greece. This one is designed for infantry combat, as it features tight streets and stiff slopes. Like Mercury, Marita has a lot of verticality to allow all kinds of play, and is scheduled to be released in July.
Close combat quarters continues in Provence and Lofoten Islands, two maps coming in August.
Still infantry themed, Operation Underground is a map inspired by Operation Metro, a popular location during the Battlefield 3 era. Players will fight in tunnels, metro tracks or courtyards, just like eight years ago. The release window given for Operation Underground is fall 2019, and at the same time DICE also wants to make improvements like raising the level cap from 50 to 500 and adding private servers.
The final and most significant information was teased in the video below; it's the arrival of Pacific War in Battlefield V. In Autumn, the US and Japanese factions will be added to the multiplayer, as well as their corresponding weapons and vehicles. At E3's EA Play, Iwo Jima was confirmed to be one of the three new maps coming in the update.
