This is the first insight into digital sales in Japan I've ever seen. My initial impression is that they don't seem to buy digital very much in the land of the rising sun. I'm not sure how that compares to here in the states, but I would guess that maybe a quarter of sales are digital. How does it compare?

According to Mediacreate it sold 2'335'186 at retail... so it sold 2'644'415 including digital, in december.
Digital is 11.7% of the sales. is it a good ratio for Nintendo?

Don't put too much weight on Famitsu's digital numbers. Those are based on reader polls and then extrapolated. They don't talk about how they extrapolate and the numbers are often inaccurate.
