Tom Clancy's The Division has set a new record in the UK for the biggest opening in the first quarter. The previous record was set 11 years ago by Gran Turismo 4.

The game is the biggest launch ever for a Tom Clancy title and is the third biggest launch ever for Ubisoft, behind Watch Dogs and Assassin’s Creed III.

 

Far Cry Primal is down one spot to second, while Call of Duty: Black Ops III is up one spot to third. FIFA 16 is up one spot to fourth, while Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 rounds out the top five.

Here are the top 10 best-selling titles for the week:

1. The Division
2. Far Cry Primal
3. Call of Duty: Black Ops III 
4. FIFA 16 
5. Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2
6. LEGO Marvel Avengers 
7. Grand Theft Auto V 
8. Forza Motorsport 6

I'm confused because the headlines I read where Ubisoft saying the division broke their day one record , but above it says it was number 3.

Bigger ubisoft launch worldwide, including digital.
Third bigger Ubisoft game in UK, only at retail.
