Total Lead: 41,915,498 – Wii

Wii U Total Sales: 10,131,326

Wii Total Sales: 52,046,824

July 2015 is the 33rd month of Wii U availability and the gap increased during the month when compared to the Wii’s 33rd month on sale by 631,766 units in favor of the Wii. The Wii currently leads by a total of 41.92 million units.

Both consoles launched in November. The Wii launched in November 2006, while the Wii U launched in November 2012. The Wii U has sold 10.13 million units in its first 33 months, while its predecessor the Wii sold 52.05 million units.
