Game Overview

BioShock is a first person shooter with role-playing game elements developed by 2K Boston and published by 2K Games.
Initially announced in 2004, it was released in North America on August 21st 2007 for PC and Xbox 360, and on August 24th 2008 for PS3. It is the first game in the BioShock series, and is often considered a spiritual successor to System Shock 2.
