People still play warhawk thats the sad part. The warhawk fanbase will be the only thing that will save this game and christmas holiday otherwise is a failure. What a shame great game. |

 | Kresnik (on 10 July 2012) Well, I finally bought Starhawk about a fortnight ago now. Been playing it nearly every evening, absolutely stellar multiplayer. So many possibilities, each game is so different, it's really well made. The campaign is short & forgettable but that's not really the point of this game. Hope it gets a sales boost some time, it deserves it. |
| jayman1 (on 05 July 2012) This game is awesome, I dont own it yet but played the demo and it was killer.Hopefully warhawk fans will come back to this game and buy it, like I will.This is ten times better than warhawk and if true warhawk fans buy this game it will survive this slow start.Resistance 3 stumbled out of the gate with little commercials and advertising and is over 1mil now.So we will see a year from now warhawk started off slow to so we will see. |
| dadada_486 (on 17 June 2012) missed opportunity as far as i can see. They should have showed the trailer they showed in E3 a few times of TV. That would've done it. Here in the UK, less than 6000 people bought the game. Pretty much reflects what i thought which was that nobody knew about this game at all, and it retails at a price higher than some other releases. Nobody is going to buy it. This game isn't perfect and i have a few gripes myself, but its onlines reviews means this game should do at least as well as some other 8/10 games. |

 | Tridrakious (on 01 June 2012) Sony needs to advertise their games. Plenty of time has been placed in between the first party titles releasing. There is no excuse for a division that is seeing profit to not be spending on some marketing on the games that are going to drive people to their platform. This is disappointing to say the very least. The game is amazing, should be selling better. |

 | krafty89 (on 25 May 2012) Not even top 100 in Europe charts im pretty sure no-one even knows this game is out. 89th in the PS3 chart on Amazon in its 2nd week, most people won't go scroll that far. Not visible on zavvi without searching, oh its £37.95 as well so that didn't help. |

 | Bristow9091 (on 18 May 2012) Ouch, these EU sales are awful! How can a western game sell more in Japan than in EU, it's crazy! My prediction was 125-150k FW, however I did say I was being a little too optimistic... but damn it hasn't even made 100k with the Japanese numbers too when they come in! (It sold 12k in Japan by the way, or around that...) So does anyone want to guess the LTD sales of this? I really hope it has legs but I doubt it, it's really going to struggle! Sony should have been advertising this instead of leaving it unnoticed, only to us internet people... maybe EU numbers next week will be better... if they're lower than FW then I've nothing left to say except this game bombed harder than... if I say it, it might upset some people so yeah, lol. |
| krafty89 (on 18 May 2012) Yes while that is true i wouldn't expect these differences Lets take some heavily American games and see the first week difference GOd of war 3 U.S.A 692,000 Europe: 317,000 Infamous: USA 152,000 Europe 62,000 Twisted Metal: USA 227,000 Europe 12,000 (lol) 1st person and 3rd person games Killzone 3: USA 264,000 Europe 193,000 Resistance 3: 135,000 Europe 74,000 Uncharted 3: 494,000 europe: 492,000 Yes Twisted metal numbers, the difference is quite funny but i wouldn't have expected it with a 3rd person shooter. How did it sell more in Japan? I'm just disappointed I guess, I thought it may trickle its way to 500,000. Lets just hope with the free DLC it was have Chun-li like legs |
