Game Overview

Fire Emblem: Awakening is a tactical strategy RPG developed by Intelligent Systems and Red Entertainment for the Nintendo 3DS. It is the eleventh original game in the Fire Emblem series, and the first Nintendo developed 3DS title to utilize paid downloadable content.

The player creates and controls a customized avatar as they help Lord Chrom, a young prince and the leader of the Shepherds, as the group of soldiers, sworn to protect the land from their Plegian neighbors, prevent a dangerous conspiracy lead by an evil sect.

Wow. Think about it. The previous
record holder for the best selling in
the series was .97M. This is currently
at 1.41M without digital (this is the
first in the series to have digital
sales) and is still selling! Where else
have we seen a series have such a sharp
jump in popularity?
