Summary

Dragon Scribe Pro adds "NATIVE" difficulty level, which includes nearly 3,000 chinese characters! Master these, and you can write about 99% of the Chinese language as it's commonly used. If you're serious about learning to write Chinese, and having fun while you're doing it, Dragon Scribe Pro is for you!

Part puzzle game, part arcade game, and part language trainer, the object of Dragon Scribe Pro is simple: draw the Chinese characters as they fall from the sky. Score as many points as you can through progressively harder levels. Along the way, you'll learn to write Chinese characters quickly and correctly using your iPhone's built-in Chinese handwriting recognition system. Can you reach the final Dragon level?

If you're wondering what all those Chinese characters mean, go to Settings to turn on English translation and learn as you play!

HINTS -- HOW TO DRAW CHINESE CHARACTERS

If you're new to the Chinese language, writing Chinese characters can be harder than it looks. It is not sufficient to simply make a drawing that resembles the desired character -- not in real life nor in the iPhone's Chinese keyboard. You have to draw the correct strokes in the correct direction and in the correct order. That's what makes Dragon Scribe so challenging! The good news is that if you draw the characters correctly, the iPhone's Chinese keyboard is very good at recognizing them. Dragon Scribe is a fun way to help you practice drawing Chinese characters quickly and correctly.

Here are some basic rules to help you draw Chinese characters:
- Generally speaking, you should draw characters from the upper left to the lower right.
- Horizontal strokes usually proceed vertical strokes.
- For characters that look like something drawn within something else, you generally start from the outside and work your way in.
