Game Overview

Army Men RTS is the video version of the games we played as children with plastic army men. The Green Army fighting the Tan Army. The game consists of 15 missions beginning in the front yard of a typical home. Each mission progresses toward the house eventually entering the basement. From there the missions are fought in each room of the house working your way up to the attic. The missions are played at three difficulties and are rewarded with a bronze, silver or gold medal. As each mission is completed and depending on the difficulty, a new mission will be unlocked in another category of which there are two, Great Battles and Special Ops, with each having another eight missions.

The game begins with the Sarge, a dozen men, a few tents, a barracks and 1500 resource credits to make more men. Your objective is to push through the Tan armies defense perimeter. In the following missions you will receive a bulldozer. Using the bulldozer you are able to build a Headquarters, a resource depot, a barracks, a garage and several other buildings such as a pill-box, a guard tower, etc. Upgrades may be required to build the garage or pill box. As the missions are completed more equipment is made available, such as tanks, half-tracks and helicopters. Snipers, mortar men, machine gunners and bazooka men will also become available.
