Metroid version of Halo: MCC
supernihilist (on 23 January 2014)
Best games ever, you cant go wrong with these games. Even today are gorgeous, the art is incredible, the soundtrack is best ever....just amazing package.
I own 2 copies of this for anyone interested in by the way...
DevilRising (on 27 August 2013)
@RobDX Indeed. If they had printed more copies of it, it would have sold well over a million for sure. For my money, I'd almost say it was a better package deal than Orange Box was.
RobDX (on 30 January 2013)
I wish nintendo would reprint this, don't know how I let it pass
DieAppleDie (on 11 November 2012)
best game disc ever
Significant_leap (on 23 June 2012)
The first one is a classic, redefines the franchise and the genre, and has the best atmosphere out of the 3
The second one is more challenging, more complex, better in many ways
The 3rd one is the culmination, better grafix, more complex story, same level of challenge...but not as appealing
Overall this is a must have for every gamer out there...you should buy a Wii just for these 3 games
sly777 (on 19 February 2012)
the best compilation ever made ! I want this so bad !!
MTZehvor (on 02 December 2011)
I don't think there's a value better than this on the market. Three of the best games ever, with some of the best controls, all for only $50.
Sccop (on 25 November 2011)
Maybe the single most prized disc in my videogame collection
Roar_Of_War (on 06 September 2011)
I really wanted this, but I saw Metroid Prime used at Gamestop for $3.99, as opposed to this game for $70+. I'm mostly just interested in the first game for now, so I'll get the other two later down the road for a much cheaper price if I'm interested.
killeryoshis (on 20 July 2011)
I only like the first one... The second one starts cool and then declines until I stopped playing which was right in front of the final boss. The third I only passed the meteor part and stopped due to boredom. Metriod is not for me :/
spurgeonryan (on 23 June 2011)
Wow! Looking at the story on the left saying which games are not being shipped anymore! Excitebots never had a chance! I hope to find this game somwherre. Even though I have the first of the series on gamecube.

This is the ultimate collection; hours upon hours of content!
TheDarkBender (on 20 June 2011)
Is this a good game. I'm thinking of buying it. Have seen a few in store.
Boutros (on 18 June 2011)
I want it! ;..;
mysticwolf (on 19 May 2011)
This game rocks the s*** with so much content!!
primogen18 (on 16 April 2011)
found this at best buy used but in new condition for $29.99. My friend grabbed it as I already own it, the cashier was saying he was hoping nobody would notice it as he was going to grab it soon, oh well lol.
spurgeonryan (on 10 December 2010)
Well I dont think they made exactly 500,000 copies. I think they just had it available for a limited time. Lets hope they made at least 600,000 copies! Still it just adds more money to nintendo. These games already came out they just ported the games to their own system to make even more money..lol.Kinda like hmmm what other game is coming out in about a week? oh yeah Mario all-stars.
kleen (on 14 November 2010)
My local walmart only had 2 left so i bought both. leaving one new and sealed. Hopefully it will be worth more in a few years
Fededx (on 14 November 2010)
Why did this seld only 560k? It's such a good deal for us...
bmmb1 (on 15 May 2010)
@Cheebee - why not? What you are saying actually totally supports the premise that all remaining copies are in Others (where it sold pitifully, hence there are lots of copies left since Nintendo probably expected more sold) while there are indeed hardly any copies left in the US.
*Sound Of Rain (on 14 May 2010)
Cheebee (on 05 May 2010)
I don't believe they only produced 500k copies of the game... it's still readily available in my country, and I doubt the remaining last 1000 copies of the game, worldwide, just happen to have been shipped to here. :-P
novasonic (on 04 May 2010)
Ah, thanks. I knew it was a limited edition, but I didn't know it was only 500k.
Voltaire (on 30 April 2010)
No, Nintendo only printed 500K copies. So the game is sold out everywhere. Had they continued printing the game, im sure itd be at ~700K by now.
novasonic (on 07 April 2010)
Is this not being tracked anymore? It's been at 490k for a long while.
Hobowan (on 04 February 2010)
HMV are the worst - they didnt bother stocking it anywhere at all even on release week! what a very strange decision that was!
I must admit though, i cheated and ebayed a metal tin for this for about a tenner p&p included, so i am well chuffed with my beautiful tin with PAL contents :)
i would defo have bought a tin for £50 instead of the normal which i got for £40, so its money well spent!
IxisNaugus (on 01 February 2010)
I feel your pain. I too live in the UK and as such, also lack a tin. I haven't seen this at any GAME or Gamestation stores for a while so you may be right about the online only existence.
It's still a great compilation though so lets not lose hope and believe in our UK brothers and sisters to pick up this great title before its too late :)
killeryoshis (on 01 February 2010)
suckers. didn't know wht they were selling to me. Got it cheap to
spurgeonryan (on 01 February 2010)
REmember people it is just a remake of games that have already sold well! It is made for collectors not for regular gamers who have played it before. So these sales are pretty good. Just another way nintendo tried to milk some more money out of the wii.
Roy03 (on 01 February 2010)
Bought my Copy for 40€ last week. Maybe the best what u can buy for Wii.
Hobowan (on 29 January 2010)
yeah, but we dont get the tin, just a standard box, and this game doesnt exist in uk stores, only online
sniff sniff :(
Brummipluesch (on 28 January 2010)
Rainbow Yoshi (on 25 January 2010)
This game is a classic. Seriously Wii owners should buy this game. Three games in one, a collectors sleeve and a collectors booklet that is a very interesting read. And I got it brand new for £29.98 (not quite sure what it is in $).
IxisNaugus (on 20 January 2010)
For those living in the UK you can relax a little, it appears that this game is still being continued over there.
Majin-Tenshinhan (on 16 January 2010)
These sales aren't too shabby, really. Too bad Nintendo are going to stop shipping it, though. But I guess it'll hit 500k.
MANUELF (on 11 January 2010)
I have a problem with the aiming because my wiimote wont stop shaking
BigGumby (on 10 January 2010)
my guess is that Nintendo shipped 500k, and the game will sell pretty dang close if not 500k. Most likely in preperation of Other M.
Cheebee (on 10 January 2010)
Can't see a reason Nintendo would cut support for something that's obviously in demand.
bmmb1 (on 10 January 2010)
Could it be Metroid Other M is more imminent than we think? Not that it sold the same numbers at this stage, but I read somewhere they stopped production of Endless Ocean this month, just before Endless Ocean 2 comes out. Maybe they wanted to make people familiar with Metroid, but not have it eat Metroid Other M's sales (?) Just a theory, admittedly possibly a stupid one.
dark_gh0st_b0y (on 10 January 2010)
what a nice idea Nintendo, stop shipping a damn good hardcore game on Wii which would bring more Metroid fans
novasonic (on 09 January 2010)
once word spreads that this is a limited edition thing, they're start selling fast. Nintendo probably only shipped 500k.
Nintendogamer (on 09 January 2010)
Is Nintendo doing this to make people want it more do you reckon?
J.U.N.O (on 09 January 2010)
OMG!!! I gotta get one!!!
darkgemini (on 09 January 2010)
But why? It sells very well o.O
IxisNaugus (on 09 January 2010)
A bit of sad news for this one you guys. Apparently MPT is no longer being shipped D:
For anyone hanging on the sidelines on whether they want this, better make a decision fast.
Razorblood (on 08 January 2010)
Amazing Deal easy purchase. Game is awesome. Here is to Other M. =D
Majin-Tenshinhan (on 04 January 2010)
Maybe this will leg out pretty well.
novasonic (on 03 January 2010)
Ooo decent Xmas boost.
OmegaRugalv3 (on 26 December 2009)
Yup as the poster below said ... this is just extra. 360k means that MP3 just sold an extra 360k which is great.
spurgeonryan (on 24 December 2009)
Remember that just liek most wii games (ports, crappy licences, remakes, and new play controls) this has already made all the money it needs to make and sold well over a million copies or more. This is all just extra, people have the gamecube and original wii versions already. When Madden 2010 came out for Wii it was dumbed down and cost less too make than the other systems. The other systems mad EA an easy profit and the Wii was just an extra topping on the cake. Its not like they have a totally different engine and spend months develping for the wii! Wii games cost less unless its a zelda or mario game, so when you see 100,000 copies to 900,000 copies you got to remember that is pretty good for a wii game on some titles. The company might have been hoping for 55 million like one title we know of, but doesn't mean they need it.
Arius Dion (on 24 December 2009)
RedDevil: Me too.
Red4ADevil (on 24 December 2009)
Im snagging this before bestbuy's offer ends. This for 20 bucks, its a freaking steal!
Arius Dion (on 23 December 2009)
Voltair, I'd agree with Halo being Mainstream (obviously being the only HD title to cross 10m) but GOW? That series is about as Mainstream and Metroid is.
Voltaire (on 21 December 2009)
Metroid isnt a popular franchise. The gameplay isnt mainstream, easy, or some would say, fun.
Most Metroid games sell to a specific audience, and the series as a while will never have the mainstream appeal of something like Halo or God of War. Its niche, and the fact that its selling as much as it is is a testimate to the quality of the games.
Khuutra (on 18 December 2009)
Considering the initial sale numbers, it's actually doing very well. Could top out at about half a million, down the road.
krimoz911 (on 14 December 2009)
Well, compared to GOW collection...
ba-na-na (on 07 December 2009)
Wow, even though i already owned all of them i am so happy i picked this up. Prime and echos are much, much better with the wii controls
16-bit gamer (on 01 December 2009)
why are people saying its not selling?!! considering this are all old games it's selling great
SSurTails (on 30 November 2009)
One of my friend gave it to me for free ... This 3 in one package is epic.
DOLBYdigital (on 30 November 2009)
Such a great value, 3 amazing games with superior controls and all in one of the best game packages I have ever seen. Amazing that this isn't selling better but Wii owners are uncanny at baffling me and not supporting the true gems on the system. This better get a huge Black Friday bump, so sad....
wiilicious (on 29 November 2009)
why the numbers are so low...did they release it in limited qty or nobody want the re-buy those games!?
Nintendogamer (on 29 November 2009)
I wonder if this sold well on Black Friday, and to think USA loves the metroid series.
drakesfortune (on 29 November 2009)
Just picked this up at Target for $29. Great deal, and the metal tin is excellent.
Fededx (on 29 November 2009)
I actually paid $50 for each game at their respective time... And I don't regret it at all, three of the best games ever!!! I find it hard to understand why it's selling so bad...
famousringo (on 21 November 2009)
If you've got Trilogy and you've got friend vouchers to trade, drop me a line.
hYpnochronic (on 19 November 2009)
I would have paid $50 for each game individually. Thanks for this, Nintendo.

chris_wing (on 21 October 2009)
I'm tempted to buy some collectors copies, leave them sealed, and shelve for twenty years. Then, if society still exists, sell for great profit.
This is the type of collectable that actually gets valuable.
dark_gh0st_b0y (on 19 October 2009)
come on, all 3 games have been already released before, the sales are fine i'd say, same for Pikmin
it's a masterpiece AAA pack, i have never played MP1 and MP2 before, it's awesome!
spurgeonryan (on 15 October 2009)
200,000 for a game that has already made plenty of profit, it is fine.
josewiisantos (on 14 October 2009)
i think this is selling well, I mean most of us played the games already, so a lot dont want to rebuy it (yet)!
Cheebee (on 12 October 2009)
I know! That sucks so hard. :(
Apparently, in the GC PAL Prime, they didn't disappear, but Trilogy seems to be a modified NTSC version, so in my precious PAL game they DO disappear, darnit!
So now I got 100% items and 99% scans. That makes me a sad panda. :(
Also, after finishing the game and you choose to save, it'll save a new game over your previous file, so you'll have to start again from the very beginning, like in Prime 3. Man.
You can choose not to save at that point, but then when you boot up your file you're still missing scans because you haven't beaten Metroid Prime yet.
Meh, so now I guess I actually WILL have to play though the entire game again just for those goddarn bats. I'm that kind of person. :p
Voltaire (on 11 October 2009)
I missed those too!! Bastards only appear once. If you dont scan 100% in Prime, you wont get all the tokens though.
Cheebee (on 11 October 2009)
I just completed Prime 1 on Trilogy, but I missed those frickin' Ice Shriekbats! Got every single scan and item in the game, except for that one, and they disappear about halfway through the game! :( So now I'll never get them. Aw man. I'm not gonna start it all over just to get I stinking scan, but it sure is nasty.
Cheebee (on 09 October 2009)
Man, can't get over how AWESOME this trilogy is. *.*
I'm close to completing Prime 1 now, it's been ages since I played the original, but the game benefits so much from the new control scheme and the widescreen display, it's unbelievable. :)
Trilogy is now very high up on my favourite games ever list.
z101 (on 06 October 2009)
I think many people, like me, are going to get this box, but already played MP3 so I will wait a bit and buy other games like Dead Space: Extraction, Rogue Trooper, Spyborgs etc.
I will get the Triology sometime in the next month but have no reason to rush it.
sc94597 (on 03 October 2009)
@Drakesfortune You do realize that before Trilogy Metroid Prime 3 ALONE was priced at $50. I would say this is under-priced.
Hardcoregamer1989 (on 30 September 2009)
well it is getting close to Christmas everyone probably ask for this game for Christmas like me
novasonic (on 28 September 2009)
Nintendo will never drop this to 20 bucks. There's just too much awesome in this box.
supermariouniverse (on 26 September 2009)
This collection deserves such higher sales :( I missed all the prime games, but now I can finally play them all. Metroid Prime is definitely one of the best games I have ever played. Graphics amazing too. The value of this is insane.
Wayy more fun than Zelda
marcianito (on 26 September 2009)
you dont want the game free??you are getting 3 games for 50 dlls, there is no better deal than that
drakesfortune (on 26 September 2009)
I know there's a lot of content, but this is priced too high. At $20 they'd have sold a lot more. I would have bought it at $20. In fact, I'll buy it when it hits $20. I still need to play all of these games. I played the first one back in the day for about 4 hours but had a tough time with the controls. I think I'd like it more now though. I was still pretty new to analog controls at the time I originally played it, so it was probably just my lack of skill.
superbeast1370 (on 25 September 2009)
I'll buy this when I get wii this holiday season.
chris_wing (on 21 September 2009)
I guess I was wrong, needed another 139 sold in other to make my prediction true. This will have a long tail though if word of mouth spreads, as it should.
darkgemini (on 21 September 2009)
Faxanadu..well, I don't think so.... .) 50 isn't a high price for 3 games :)
Faxanadu (on 21 September 2009)
I think releasing Prime 1 and 2 on single DVDs with a Price Tag each for 24.99 USD would have yielded better sales for each game - sad but true.
marcianito (on 20 September 2009)
and people complaining of the opening week sales lol, it actually did very well, huge drop in the second week, let's see if it has legs, don't expect much most people already own one of the three games, so most won't buy it again exept for hardcore fans of the series
I like Bacon (on 19 September 2009)
I wish this would do better. I hope it'll get to a million by Christmas next year.
Voltaire (on 18 September 2009)
Metroid games arent known for legs. The fact that MPT has sold as much as it has is in itself suprising.
XiaoMay (on 18 September 2009)
Well most gamers already have these games !!!
MontanaHatchet (on 17 September 2009)
Erm, no legs?
chris_wing (on 16 September 2009)
Yes true, but we should also take into consideration that "other" is a broad catagory. Even though the game my be officially released in said "x" region, stores may be waiting for stock to arrive. I live in an urban Canadian area, and even we often have to wait 2-3 days after "official" release until retailers have the game on the shelf.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say next week sales in "other" will be higher then 10,136.
Barozi (on 15 September 2009)
Almost all games come in the first week with 3 or 4 days of sales. That's no excuse.
Barozi (on 15 September 2009)
Quote from ioi:
"Based on how Metroid Prime Trilogy performed (and some others) I think some of the smaller hardcore games might be a little inflated on this list - such as Demon Souls. I'm trying to tweak some of the methodology to fix this but it wouldn't suprise me if we weren't a little high on that title."
Nintendogamer (on 14 September 2009)
Well as of about now wii has sold about 53.30 million :P and this game needs to sell more, such a amazing valuve for 3 great games in one.
chris_wing (on 13 September 2009)
Europe sales are for 3 days, not a full week (released on the 4th in EU). That said the sales all around could be better for this, but we need to remember who the hardcore Wii users are, they are mostly the same people who were the GCN hardcore users, aka Prime 1 and Prime 2 owners.
Mario All Stars had the J version of Mario 2, it wasn't just a rerelease, and the Orange Box had Portal, a new game. I think it's not all doom and gloom though. With christmas coming a sales spike is ensured, and Metroid Other M should also give this a much needed boost when it launches.
retroking1981 (on 13 September 2009)
ok this really is poor, 26k 2ed week americas and 10k 1st week europe is just bad.
i dont care if its a re-release, so was mario all-stars and orange box and they sold well. There are 52,940,000 wii owners who should be embarrassed.
Voltaire (on 12 September 2009)
120k is no where near 60k. Someone is wrong here. I think NPD has some faulty info, we had concrete pre-order numbers right?
gansito (on 11 September 2009)
don't forget the 107 k preorder number, guess that exclusive feature isn't usefull at all.
haxxiy (on 11 September 2009)
Under 67k for first week according to NPD, it was worse than I expected =/
gansito (on 11 September 2009)
IxisNaugus (on 11 September 2009)
My copy arrived yesterday, started playing it today. The Prime series is amazing, the controls are incredible, this package is just too good.
Buzzi (on 11 September 2009)
300k lifetime? I hope more!
drakesfortune (on 11 September 2009)
Wow, terrible sales. I'm surprised by this. I suppose though, it's not a new game. However, the first two have to be new to a huge percentage of Wii owners.
darkgemini (on 11 September 2009)
Well, it's not so bad. For a rerelease with just new controls are 200.000 unist worldwide extrem well. And I'm sure, the trilogy will pass it...The 3 games sold very good, and now nintendo and retro get some money, with minimal cost....
AND: i think chrismas will help the trilogy, too....
haxxiy (on 10 September 2009)
First week overtracked, unless somehow VGC made it up on the second week.
Raido (on 10 September 2009)
Yeah, they made already profit with this collection...
Chrizum (on 10 September 2009)
Sales aren't good, but let's be honest, it was a lazy effort anyway.
mmpop (on 10 September 2009)
Why are all you people so sad about these sales? Or if I should put this way, why are you even care how much this sales? I can say like this. Both Nintendo and Retro Studio dosent care a bit about how much this sales beacuse they have already gain a profit from the time when the actuall orginal games where realesed. They are just realesing this for the fans, nothing more. They are already working on the next games.
Remember - this is a game that is going to sale for a long time. Even in a year, some new Wii customer are going to buy this one just beacuse of the bargain price.
So the sales of this game isnt so important to Nintendo or Retro Studio, they are not like these third party puplisher which saying that every core game is a "test" and forcing people to buy they games, like activision.
MarioGalaxy (on 10 September 2009)
Why are you so worried about this metroid game compilation sales?
All of the three games included did so good in sales when were released (first two on the Gamecube and the last one on the wii). Total sales for this three games are over 5,5 million units!! So, another 150k units is a success thinking that the game was released one week ago. Nintendo and retro studios 'll make some prfit with this sales for sure, because are not buit from the ground up. Be happy!! Just compare sales when the games are news!!
marcianito (on 10 September 2009)
TopCat8 (on 10 September 2009)
big second week drop. That's not good...
Faxanadu (on 10 September 2009)
They should have just released one and two together for like 30 Euros.
I got 3, paid 50 Euros. I feel now ripped off and will not buy Triology.
Majin-Tenshinhan (on 10 September 2009)
I'm beginning to hate my own continent. Every game that owns this year gets absolutely terrible sales over here, except Batman. Stupid consumers in stupid Europe.
Hobowan (on 10 September 2009)
trouble is in europe, where i am anyway, is that the game simply isnt anywhere to buy! GAME has some, gamestation sold out, the 3 HMVs near me didnt even have this or cursed mountain on the shelves all week! i asked, and the 2 hmv stores in my town only ordered 1 copy between them. it would sell a lot more if retailers acknowledged its existance! i bet its the same in a lot of other areas too.
Everwhere i go in the uk, retailers have all but abandoned shelf space for mature titles, using the wii shelf space only to shift the fitness games and fodder :(
It will kill most of the great games of this type coming out on the wii in the next 12 months...mark my words :(
Maybe as the wii market fills up with more mature games this year things may change but...
MarioGalaxy (on 10 September 2009)
Nothing is wrong with European people. I wrote onthe forum a few days ago and i predicted good sales for this game, but no as spectacular as some people thought. That's easy: Thre are three greats games on there, but all of them are old. No new games except for the controls (that are fantastic). So if you have Metroid Prime 3, and played the first two games on the Gamecube, there are no much reasons to repeat it, because the third game has the wii controls instead. That's the reason european sales are just decent for the firs week.
ksv (on 10 September 2009)
10K first week in Others??? What is wrong with Europeans?
a3hmax (on 08 September 2009)
I gponna buy this one.
Cheebee (on 08 September 2009)
Novasonic, that sucks! :p Good luck, sounds like you'll need it...
Man I love these games, I never completed Echoes, but this time it's gonna be a treat. I agree with mandisc, I can't get over how fabulously smooth, intuitive, fast, accurate and overall great these controls are. :) They may just be my personal most comfortable control mechanics in any game ever.
mandisc (on 08 September 2009)
got it yesterday. I have fallen in love all over again. Those Wii controls are perfection!

i cannot for the life of me find the last missile expansion in MP.. I've run through every area twice and I still only have 245!! I've even used walkthroughs and I'm still missing one somewhere!

I still haven't played Echoes yet. Maybe I'll get this some day.
Nintendogamer (on 06 September 2009)
No less than 110,000 total in others as of 12th September, I will be happy.
sep85dd (on 06 September 2009)
I think, it could sell in the same in others.
Majin-Tenshinhan (on 05 September 2009)
Man, I got this game, and felt like "Well, it can't be that exciting to replay games I've already completed", but only an hour into Metroid Prime 1 I'm all filled with glee. It's ... So wonderful. I really hope this compilation betas a million sales, if it doesn't I'll be sad.

If you are a fan of Metroid in the least, even if you have played them all before, you owe it to yourself to get this unique boxset. The first two games alone with updated controls and graphics is worth the price of admission alone. Plus, you can't beat the price.
haxxiy (on 05 September 2009)
Not bad, not bad at all :-)
dark_gh0st_b0y (on 05 September 2009)
awesome! another one i want to play, and i'll do sometime
TopCat8 (on 05 September 2009)
Wow. I didn't expect the first weeks sales to be this high. I'm not complaining though.
OmegaRugalv3 (on 04 September 2009)
Nice sales ... hope it has legs and keeps selling. Metroid's sales history unfortunately do not match the quality of the franchise. .... games that are half as good outsell it badly.
mfogg20 (on 04 September 2009)
i will get it eventually. ive played all three many many times so im waiting a little longer to relive them
GhaudePhaede010 (on 04 September 2009)
Amazing box set.
Salnax (on 04 September 2009)
Very Impressive sales for a compilation. It just might reach the 1 million mark eventually.
RooF (on 04 September 2009)
Just bought it! Maybe one of the first Europeans to have it :P
TheConduit (on 03 September 2009)
Given the absurd value of this pack like the orange box the sales for this game will probable go strong for a long time
Pure (on 03 September 2009)
Only released in America and 115k, Better than I was expecting.
marcianito (on 03 September 2009)
very good opening
Killergran (on 03 September 2009)
115k is, in my opinion, a great opening for this game. Maybe half that number in Others, even a quarter first week, would put it in line for 200k+ lifetime. Which, considering, is pretty good for a New Playcontrol game.
Tuulikk (on 03 September 2009)
This is a good opening! After one week out and that in only America, only 885k left to a million!
Next week when there also will be PAL numbers, 200k or more will be sold so far. With best of luck, 500k in a few weeks.
IxisNaugus (on 03 September 2009)
Officially released here in europe tomorrow. Am hoping to pick this up
darkgemini (on 03 September 2009)
MAybe. but the metroid sales are for metroid games very good, MP 3 reached 1,5 Mo and topped classics like super metroid .
I think nintendo should be happy, when the trilogy reach 0,5 - 0,7 Mio worldwide, I think, this is good for a rerelease.... And with 1 Mio or more, that would be great :)
spurgeonryan (on 02 September 2009)
Hopefully 150,000 first week, they've already made money, this is just adding to Nintendo's ability to make money off of money and old games. All of the wii games that failed will have another chance to make money on the wii 2 via virtual consol?
Soma (on 02 September 2009)
Finally my copy arrived!!! =D
16-bit gamer (on 02 September 2009)
oh no!! i'm scared now!!! somebody hold me..i got 4 more energy tanks so i hope i can survive
DOLBYdigital (on 01 September 2009)
One of the best deals in gaming that I have seen since the Orange Box.
3 phenomenal full length games that still hold up against the test of time. The gameplay found in Prime 1 and 3 are still better than most FPS games out today. I haven't played Prime 2 yet but Prime 1 and 3 have the best combos of action, exploration, and puzzles that are possible in a FPS in my mind. While it may not have the best of one thing it has a very nice blend of everything which provides a complete experience.
novasonic (on 01 September 2009)
oh ho just you wait til you get to the last room on the third floor..
16-bit gamer (on 01 September 2009)
i keep dying in the mines in Prime 1. Those enemies that have to be hit with an ice, wave, or regular beam always kill me. I never switch fast enough. So i'm trying to find energy tanks
richardhutnik (on 31 August 2009)
I had a lot of fun with the multiplayer using Wii controls. I am surprised they list the game as one-player only.
Voltaire (on 28 August 2009)
Even with the ADVANCED setting, its much slower than MoH2/TC. It suits the game better, though faster turning would be appreciated.
Smeags (on 26 August 2009)
If I can look away long enough from the wonderful boxart I might be able to play this game. @_@
Chrizum (on 26 August 2009)
If you think the controls are slow, you should set the controls to "advanced". In fact, you should change the controls to "advanced" regardless.
thetonestarr (on 26 August 2009)
If you think the controls are slow, you probably need to change your settings.
I've noticed this is MUCH more fun, and easier, to play without WM+ attached, and the wiimote condom removed. The controller feels too cumbersome with that stuff.
Voltaire (on 26 August 2009)
Im about half way trhough Prime 1 now. A great game, and the controls are actually a bit slow and dated. Still works great though, as the game isnt as action heavy as others.
thetonestarr (on 26 August 2009)
Also, it took me about a half-hour to decide how I liked the controls the best, but I think I've finally got it decided.
I'm going with standard control and lock on/free aim turned OFF. I wish we had more control sensitivity settings than just those three (I'd prefer something between medium and high, basically), but it's not bad.
I'm glad I only ever played through each of these games once, because now that I'm playing through them again, a lot of it seems so distant, thus giving it a new, fresh feel again.
thetonestarr (on 26 August 2009)
Did they change some of the music? I think they made some other minor tweaks that we may not notice. But I appreciate them because they're wonderful.
16-bit gamer (on 25 August 2009)
i've played it for about 2 hours now and i'm loving it!! i never played through any of them and i'm glad i didn't buy Prime 3 when i wanted too. this game will take me months to finish. i can't wait!!!
hYpnochronic (on 25 August 2009)
I would have paid $50 for each game. This game is manna from heaven.
gvangoeverden (on 25 August 2009)
i just bought this and on the way home the box fell out my bag and went under the car and got run over and the whole box is in pieces. nice!!
Khuutra (on 25 August 2009)
I can't believe there's only four owners for this game right now.
TheConduit (on 24 August 2009)
The best bundle of all time
Orange Box was good but Metroid takes the cake
PS: I just remembered the Portal song so I take back the cake coment
Hardcoregamer1989 (on 24 August 2009)

Soma (on 22 August 2009)

The boxart is for regualr metal case is sexy!
Skorpion (on 24 June 2009)
