I guess I am the only one who cares about this game it seems.
spurgeonryan (on 16 December 2010)
You do see that I said over three systems..right?
Yakuzaice (on 22 May 2010)
It hasn't sold 3 million. It was at 1.7 million in mid January according to Harmonix. 1.18 million in the US at the end of December.
VGC has it at 1.7 million in just North America as of the end of December
spurgeonryan (on 18 March 2010)
so 3 million over three systems, at what average 80 dollars per game. and they lost money on over 200 million in sales? How! Are they run by universal studios who pay way too much for everymovie they make these days? The wolfman 150 million?
spurgeonryan (on 23 February 2010)
wait I read a report on yahoo that this game lost the company money? Beatles tracks cost the m alot?
marcianito (on 21 January 2010)
Smeags (on 20 January 2010)
Whoa! A BIG drop... 300,000. x_X
Still over a million though...
Smeags (on 17 December 2009)
Hits the big million. Wii owners are struck by Beatles-mania confirmed. :-D
cliffhanger (on 13 December 2009)
million next week, unless it's adjusted down.
marcianito (on 12 December 2009)
millon seller next week
Yakuzaice (on 10 December 2009)
Actually I guess it's been way off for a while, VGC had Wii+360 at over 800k for September in the US. NPD had it at 460k.
Yakuzaice (on 10 December 2009)
Looks like all the versions are very overtracked. They just announced they sold a million worldwide between all 3 systems.
primogen18 (on 02 December 2009)
There must be more Beatles fans with Wiis. I see it go alot at my store, and looking on here it's more evident. Interesting.
SnowFlow (on 04 November 2009)
Christmas should give a boost but yeah the milkage of the music genre is killing it.
coonana (on 30 October 2009)
it had to implode sometime the milkage from both companies was too much for its audience to handle.
gustave154 (on 30 October 2009)
what a dissapointment
Fleeman (on 30 October 2009)
If the Beatles Rock Band is selling this bad wait until band hero and lego rock band. It might be the end of the music genre for good.
Rustuv (on 04 October 2009)
yeah, number one game in the world when it was released, obviously the music game fad is dieing.
ylowbstard (on 23 September 2009)
Man, the Music genre is almost dead! GH5 and the Beatles... both among the years best games frankly, have such low sales! The only reason RBTB is selling this well is due to the band itself, but considering it's the fab four, this is still very very low.
Man, the music game mania of 2007 seems like just yesterday! But now it's all over.
--OkeyDokey-- (on 22 September 2009)
Europe was never that crazy about Guitar Hero even at its peak. The whole music game fad was mostly an American thing.
Rock Band 1 and 2 fared even worse due to late releases and high prices. This one should have legs, though.
Salnax (on 19 September 2009)
Actually, I think that Europeans like Guitar Hero more than Rock Band, and that's why the difference is so large.
dolemit3 (on 18 September 2009)
Why such a huge discrepancy between NA and EU? Overtracked in America it seems.
BoneArk (on 18 September 2009)
Surprised at Others sales, really low.
Hardcoregamer1989 (on 18 September 2009)
it makes me so fucking Old lol
primogen18 (on 17 September 2009)
yeah, but looking at GH world tour/III/5, is this really surprising its selling better for now on Wii?
metalgearmatt (on 17 September 2009)
lol Wii gamers like the Beatles o.0
