You seem to ignore this game did surprisingly well and nobody was expecting huge sales.

Now lets observe; it has good sales, its a critical success, and it introduced new players to a long running series. I'd say it has been a success.

Correct. Civ 5 has been announced and its coming to pc.

But really this did pretty well considering its a streamlined spinoff.

Since the last PC game sold 3 million, whereas the console game still hasn't reached 1 million, the next Civ game, if it exist, will probably be on the PC, where it belongs.
NeoStar9 (on 08 July 2009)
Any word if they will make another console version in the future or will the series stay on the computer?

The Greeks and Romans are just so much better than the other civilizations. It's not even fair. The Zulu are good for cheap rushes.
Egghead (on 28 March 2009)
Overtracked, but still did nicely in America according to NPD
