Just tried it for the first time today, and got 420GS in a few hours, and beat the game on my 2nd try (first try was to figure out how the heck to play it on a X360). It reminds me A LOT like Civilization on SNES. Very simple management of everything. The game gets pretty cluttered and time consuming later on if you go for a domination victory (try managing 20 howitzer armies at once). Good game for Civ fans that need a new fix. Maybe 8.0/10 or 8.25/10. Message \| Report

But the other difficulties are definitely possible, u just might need to rely on some save game management whereas on King you can do it all without any save / loading. Message \| Report

Civilisation games always have great legs on the pc, plus the developers always make lots of expansions to keep it fresh. No idea about how much its actually sold to consumers, but that big a jump in shipped numbers indicates its still selling well. It'll be interesting to see is they come up with some expansions and stuff that you can dowload off live. if they did I'd certainly buy them. Message \| Report
