Everyone knows that the TurboGrafx-16 was most loved for its amazingplethora of shoot-em-ups.  Few of those can even begin to compare to the awesomeness that is Air Zonk though!  Released in 1992 exclusively for the TurboGrafx-16, Air Zonk took the console by storm with it's unique "cute-em-up" gameplay!  Now, finally, the long wait is over.  You can relish Air Zonk all over again because now it's on Wii™ Virtual Console™!

How does one begin to convey just how mind bogglingly awesome Air Zonk is?!  Well, to start, the game set itself apart from other shooters of the time by focusing heavily on gameplay features and its distinctive art style.  Just look at some of the screen shots and you will be hard pressed not to utter an "ooh!" or "ah!"  Air Zonk captivated gamers with its recognizable style and wacky Japanese "Hey, this is weird!  Let's put it in the game!!" mentality
