Posting this from another forum. I can't read Japanese, so here (according to the poster) is a brief summary, in English:

About Microsoft
- If there is a merrit cooperating with Microsoft we will do this. We might give some projects to separate studios and make games for the X360.

- The Main Platforms for Square Enix are the Nintendo Platforms and PS3. The Lionshare of the Developers and our infrastructure as well as our capital is for NDS, Wii and PS3 and this is not going to change.

- We are astonished by Wiis success and the nintendo dominance. We thought that the PS3 and the Wii will coexist due to the difference between both strategies, but in the end the users will decide which platform we develop on. The SCE Platforms at this point are a bit of a challenge.

- We think we can do much on the Wii. I talked to Iwata to exploit many possibilities and cheer him on.

Personal analysis: he seems to say so many different things that I'd frankly just not listen to him and wait for games to be released.

This really goes to prove that most things bellowed out by company execs don't mean anything. The market forces them to make actions that may be totally against their personal philosophy.

Prime Example:

"If RE4 goes on the PS2, I'll cut off my own head."

Square-Enix is awesome. All their games are great. I never doubted their intentions.

What's more important: How is it being Bodhesatva?

Still good so far, thanks for asking. My intention is to live forever; so far, I'm succeeding.

Also, I strongly dislike Square Enix's games, and I don't really think Wada should be taken seriously because he keeps making so many (seemingly) contradictary statements. Given those two facts, it's odd that I keep posting this drivel.

Can't wait to see the reaction of people who think that businesses are loyal to anything else other than money.

SE gave Sony a bit of credit due to their past relationship, but once the bills start accumulating, watch them running to Nintendo again.

FF13 on Wii?

Around the Network

Geez Square needs to make up their mind. I mean first its Wii sucks and will die. Then its well its doing ok but we are still don't think it'll last. Now it's well its doing amazing and we like it and want to develop for it haha. I mean seriously, their opinions change more than a woman at a mall shopping haha.

unfortunately, no. SE isn't really known for porting.

I got the best of both world's with the Wii and PS3.

I would like to see Square Enix put out loads of games for the Wii. But I would like to see some HD graphics/Blu-ray disc-space games. Like how FFXIII and FF vs. XIII will be.

Wada and Tetsuya Noruma are doing a fine job.

Explain the frequent remakes of Final Fantasy I, II and III. Putting those on different formats.

Okay then, I guess we'll see FFXIII on a nintendo platform in 10 to 20 years. When was the last time they ported current games? FFXIV on the Wii, maybe, but not 13.
