Capcom expects to ship:

2m copies of Monster Hunter Tri on Wii (Summer Release in Japan, "FY 2009-2010" release elsewhere)

0.8m copies of Resident Evil 5 (after the 4.4m they already shipped) on 360/PS3

2.7m copies of Lost Planet 2 on X360

2m copies of Dark Void in the western markets across PC, PS3, 360 in "Q2"

0.9m copies of Monster Hunter Freedom 2G in the west across PSP in "FY 2009-2010"

I would guess July to September is the Monster Hunter 3/2G quarter, April to June is the main RE5 quarter, Oct-Dec is the Lost Planet Quarter. Wonder what they have for Jan-March 2010?

No word on Bionic Commando?

I honestly believe Bionic Commando and Dark Void will bomb.

so Lost Planet 2 is not coming on the PS3?? that's bad the video they showed looked really good and since I'm giving away my 360 this summer I was hoping it will be Multiplat

Here is what I don't get:

They made 110 games in the year ending March 2009, and 106 in the year ending March 2008 but they are only making 79 games for the year ending March 2010 even though they've been doing pretty well.

The breakdown in FY 3/2009 was:

10 PS2 games, 15 PS3 games, 18 PSP games for Sony

37 DS games, 14 Wii games for Nintendo

12 X360 games for Microsoft

4 PC/Other platform games

This year its down to:

3 PS2 games (-70%), 13 PS3 games (-13%), 8 PSP games (-56%)

28 DS games (-24%), 9 Wii games (-36%)

X360 12 games (0% change)

PC/Others (including iPhone it looks like) 6 games (+50%)

2,7 m copies of lost planet on 360 alone ? no way .

It does say 'other' which is how they refer to the PC market for Lost Planet 2 but I dont think they have a PS3 version for this year.

2.7m does sound fishy for just the 360. With Resi 5 total shipments expected to get to 5.2m, with roughly equal PS360 sales, they think Lost Planet 2 (360) will outsell Resi 5 (360)?

Same... Bionic Commando will do OK but not exceptional... Dark Void looks OK, but nothing extreme... If its not advetrtised like the 2nd comming of Jesus, it will bomb hard :| Though they are Capcom games so they have some chance to survive...

Oh, and if Capcom expects to ship 900k copies of MHP2G in the West then WOW... we might have the first million selling MH game in the west :D

Then they will fall short at that prediction... no way LP2 will sell ~ 2.2 million in this fiscal year on the 360... there are way to many big titles comming out and already out for the 360 for a game like LP to stand out as the first one did back when it was released....
