Game Overview

Skylanders Swap Force is a platform video game that takes place in the Skylanders Universe. It will be published by Activision in all territories, except in Japan, where it will be published by Square Enix. The game will be released in the third quarter of 2013, across multiple systems. The Wii version will be developed by Beenox, the Nintendo 3DS version will be developed by n-Space, and all other versions will be taken care of by Vicarious Visions.

The game takes place in the Cloudbreak Islands, where a mystical volcano erupts every 100 years. This eruption replenishes the magic to the Skylands. Some Skylanders were caught in the volcano once when it erupted, which gave them the power to swap halves with each other. This group of Skylanders is known as the SWAP Force, and it is up to them and the other Skylanders to stop Kaos once again. The game will feature 16 total characters with two parts on each allowing for a total of 256 combinations in addition to the 100 figures from the original Skylanders.

Over a year after its replacement and
Wii still beat PS3/360 with games like
this and Just Dance. So much for the
th\eory that nobody plays their Wii any
supernihilist (on 30 January 2014)
it bombed on 3DS but Wii sales are
really good

Such an awesome money maker for
activision when you think to unlock all
the swap areas of the game you need to
at least buy 6x20euros figures to see
everything. I'm still missing 2 of the
abilities haha >.> damn you for putting
dlc in such a cute collectable form!

yet again, at the end of it's life, it
still easily handles the 360.
