I wonder WTH Ms will do to compete with PS3 this fall. If they do nothing, I will always think of them as a greedy US corporation. After all the cheaper to build older system should be cheaper then then more expensive new one (PS3 cost more to build, and has Blu-Ray).

I wander how long will it take PS3 to come out positive for YOY sales. There are few exclusives coming out on PS3 this month, hopefully this will give PS3 a boost, and I saw few ads that SONY is planning on showcasing which will advertise the new price.

Unless we have things horribly wrong lol, then it's unlikely to be over the next few weeks at least. PS3 is only gonna be up around 50k over next few weeks and potentially down late september (was pushing 200k that time last year, so PS3 would have to sustain the current level of sales)

@Seece I've said it before and I'll say it again. Seasonality is about to start kicking in. As is usually the case sales will increase by about 20%-25% around the Fifa launch at the end of September. So PS3 sales should be around 250k-275k at the end of the month. Also two weeks from now should see a dramatic YOY rise with the Xillia launch. Maybe around 150k. I actually remember having almost this exact same conversation with you in last years YOY updates Seece.
