It will be interesting to see if the 3DS sales spike continues in the coming weeks.

Should still do very well next week, because the price cut was just for the 12th and 13th outside of Japan, and 12th-14th in Japan. As for how it will stablise in the weeks to come, that's anyone's guess. Hopefully the price cut can keep sales high until the holiday games release and provide a more long term sales boost.

@ VGC : +700% is 8 fold and not 7 fold (remember that +100% is 2 fold and not 1 fold !)

I'm very curious to know how the PS3 price cut is going to do. With it not being announced 3 weeks in advance. I know it won't have the effect the last price cut did ($100 cut, new model, new marketing campaigns, new game cases, etc), but should be rather big.

Good to see a 3DS game cracking the 1 mil mark. I suspect there will be a decent drop off in the following weeks but it seems Nintendo has their 3DS at a decent price for the holiday season. Once their major titles hit then there can't be any more excuses on performance of sales.

Nice to see the 3DS doing so well, and the 3 consoles so close to each other.

Who will win this holiday is anyone's guess. But I'm still backing Nintendo, I'm sure you can guess why ;-)

@ VGC : DS versus PSP : 53.77 + 45.23 = 99 % and not 100 % !

I hope 3DS sales stay strong, it's been on the market long enough to start over taking the DS. I wonder how much the price cut will help PS3 sales, and how much 3DS sales fall. Hope the PS3 sells considerably more, and I hope 3DS is up too.
