Here Is Some Final Fantasy Type-0 Gameplay

Early this morning Square Enix hosted a tournament for Dissidia 012 Duodecim Final Fantasy, and those attending were treated to 20 minutes of video from the upcoming PSP title Final Fantasy Type 0 by the game's director Hijome Tabata. The game is likely best remembered as the renamed portable entry in the Fabula Nova Crystallis compilation, Final Fantasy Agito XIII.

Of course, there were some resourceful fans present at the show, and more than a few of them managed to capture just about everything on film. Granted, some guy’s shaky Flip camera isn’t exactly the best way to experience a mess of never-before-seen gameplay, but here on the internet we make do with what we have.

You can check out what was shown in its entirety below, via multiple YouTube embeds, and decide for yourself whether or not it’s in your best interest to care about this one. But be sure not to decide without letting us know what you think in the comments section below.

School outfits + Final Fantasy = abomination. Also it looks kind of lame. Also any time you pair a video with the Final Fantasy prelude you have an automatic masterpiece.

Hmm... It has potential to be an incredible FF. Ironically, if it comes to be just that, it's a FF that isn't part of the mainline series. I'll be on the lookout for the reviews.

This game looks BIG! However I really liked 13 and Crisis core, and if this game is something in between Im good! Need a great last game for my psp before NGP comes :)

I think the style and gameplay looks interesting. But we'll need to wait until release to see if its once again another FF that focuses on cutscenes and story over gameplay. If so, I'll probably pass.
