@Monges79 no it not, but the ps3 is actually doing better compare 2 last year

Anyone notice the PS3's Black Ops sales are half of the 360's? Are the 360's preorders for Black Ops beating Modern Warfare 2's from last year?

@ Dr.Feelgood.

The difference being that Spots Champs/Move didn't see a significant downshift in pre-orders just prior to release. For sure Kinect will launch much higher than Move in Americas, but unless they screwed up and left a zero off the Kinect pre-orders for the week it would seem that the initial shipment of Kinect has been fully pre-ordered, or close to it. Unless some retailers are holding back a lot of Kinect units for walk-in sales (how likely is that, and how many would they hold back from pre-order availability) it would seem that first week sales will more or less equal pre-orders.

Looks to me like both Move and Kinect might have supply issues this Christmas, especially Kinect in Americas.

Given it seems Kinect is a sell out I think global Kinect install base FW will = Move install base LTD.

@dr.feelgood oh lol, i saw the threads for how well the move is doing, but didnt watch it before it launched, thanks

@ cory.ok
The PS move's champion sports, or whatever it was bundled with, had less preorders than that and it still sold pretty well so I think its doing good at 200k

Gears of War 3 isn't coming out until fall next year and it's doing awesome, it's already 18th in the list. Go Gears!

Wow, so happy to see COD:BO Wii in there and with three weeks to go to! Both WAW and MWR did 60k worldwide in their first week and this should break that. I really hope Treyarch give us some info before hand and this total rises!

does kinect adventures only having less than 200,000 pre prders mean kinect only has the same?
seems pretty low...i thought it would be doing better

BeLikeClutch: Like always there will be some MS-websites/magazines which will drive up the average. Sony and Nintendo do the same, too bad Metacritic counts these as well. ;)

Oh, and Calmador, you're pretty pathetic. You seem to be in denial that people like different games on different systems, try growing up a little and stop acting like a 5 year old in the playground.

Good to see Goldeneye and COD:BO for Wii make it in there.
Both World at War AND Modern Warfare Reflex never made it into the chart for pre-orders for Wii. I happen to dig up some old charts while searching for other stats and came across the pre-order charts leading up to both games. It's nice to see the COD brand grow on Wii.

Arrange what ? Microsoft has no fault of Bad Reviewers like Sony has no fault of people rating Heavy Rain at 4/10... Some guys are stupid they post reviews for hits like Destructoid or Eurogamer what can Ms or Sony do about that ?? NOTHING. The game will sell milions so whatever Triple A confirmed plus the game is awesome 9.5 for me. Not finished yet.

I think Molyneux just happened to make his very humble comments at a time where he knew people would purchase his game and make it "Great", I think he's evil, haha

  • 0
TheFlyingDutchman (on 26 October 2010)

@ Silver tiger: Maybe because it is coming out next week and/or people want to see if Molyneux made his first GREAT game and/or people want to see if Molyneux lied again and/or the x360 isn't getting another big exclusive game this year?

Ads for Goldeneye have already started on sunday evening,at Fox.
Yeah, finally in top30,and it could have a very good bump the next week.
Epic could be very big.

Fable III preorders must be jumping because of the stellar reviews. Otherwise I can't explain the huge jump in preorders.

TheFlyingDutchman (on 26 October 2010)

Why does this article say GT5 only added 1000 preorders this week while the list says +1800? It's closer to 2000 then it is to 1000.

Dk is showing good numbers, hopefully those numbers will keep increasing as the release date gets closer... Epic mickey could be very big as well... Golden Eye, ads should begin soon, otherwise game is not going to do very well IMO...

@_@ at COD wii, How come 9000 preorders when we havent even see a single screenshot of the game???

Cirio (on 26 October 2010)

LMAO @ BO Wii > BO PC.

Also, I'm surprised at GT5 pre-orders. I thought they would be going in the negatives this week.

Fable III is already a given for me. However, I am torn between Epic Mickey and DKC:R as I am saving up for a 55" LED 3DTV and can't splurge to get both. Any suggestions as I really want both but could only chose one. (I don't regret Epic Yarn as I love that game)
