Dante Creator Hideki Kamiya Comments on the DmC Reboot - News

You may have seen the images with the re-imagined Dante from the series reboot DmC, announced at TGS 2010. As you can (maybe easily) imagine, fans across the internet have been sounding off about how the new look for their favorite demon slayer is a terrible idea.
Hideki Kamiya, the creator of the Devil May Cry franchise and Dante himself, made some comments about the new look on his Twitter page. You can see some of his responses below.
Kamiya later responded to some of the criticism that he didn't like the new Dante in a later series of tweets.
He at least seems like he can take all the news of the new Dante well, though it must be hard to see something you created changed without your input.
Kamiya has directed Devil May Cry, Viewtiful Joe, Okami, and Bayonetta. He is reported to be working on a sequel for Bayonetta.

Dante was Capcom's Deadpool,not as well known as some other big names,but everyone who knew Dante loved Dante ^_^ That's all about to change...I mean "DmC" may be a good game.But I for one hate the Ninja Theory Dante.I'll be renting this game.I'll be owning MVC3 seeing as the real Dante is in there :P
Ninja Theory haven't proven themselves in terms of sales why give them an established series.

@lowkey .... there is nothing to wait and see regarding Dante's new design. It is absolutely hideous. That we can judge right now.
The gameplay we cannot judge but going by Heavenly Sword ... I have doubts it will top DMC 3 or Bayonetta.
Dante changed in all the games but minor stuff. This new Dante doesn't resemble the original in any way shape or form. He doesn't even look like a dude.

This guy is on a roll. Rarely do you see someone with 4 AAA franchises...
That latest tweet of his is my mantra of gaming. People are pissed about this game or that game from the previews. How bout we all wait and see.
Dante always changed in all the games thats true, hes best in 3rd IMO.
