Co-founder of the Evolution Championship Series Tom Cannon announced the game at EVO 2019. A title or platforms on the game was not announced.
"Back in 2016, when we joined forces with Riot, I said we were going to go in the hole for a while, right?" Cannon said. "I wanted to let people in on maybe the worst kept secret in the universe, which is that I can confirm we are working on a fighting game for Riot."

"We have experienced the profound impact this genre can have on players and want to bring the fighting game experience to more people," Riot said in a statement to IGN. "We’re working hard to create a game truly worthy of the vibrant fighting game community and are making progress, but still have a long way to go before we’re ready to share more details."
Riot Games acquired developer Radiant Entertainment in 2016.

THis actually irks the living hell out of me, primarily because of a fighting game, designed for PC player was in the works a few years ago, but then Riot was told to buy them up, and they shut down the project.
This sounds like it could be PC based, but if it is, I will be beyond livid at this, because the fighting game they had shut down was perfect and one I was wanting to try out.
Riot makes so much money with league of legends they don't even need another title, I am surprised they are finally making new ips.
