Capcom announced worldwide shipments for Resident Evil 7: biohazard have surpassed a combined three million units across the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.

Capcom also revealed the film, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, has performed well at the box office, pushing the film series to more than $1 billion earned worldwide. That makes it the most successful film series basesd on a video game.

I'm optimistic that it will achieve this goal although it is a lofty one considering the time frame. If there was ever a game in recent memory that deserved strong sales after the amount of skepticism and doubt that surrounded its release it is this one. Capcom needs to be commended for actually doing something right for a change as most of their franchises as of late have lost that "edge" that made them such prominent titles in the past. There is probably no better way to get this point across than to support what they set out to do on this rendition and frankly I for one don't see any out there who are craving a solid survival-horror title being disappointed on this outing. -RE/BIOHAZARD 7 NINJA APPROVED-
