by Jared Katz , posted on 04 April 2016 / 6,097 ViewsConcept art and information for God of War 4, which is rumoured to be in development specifically for the (again, rumoured) PS4K, has apparently been discovered by NerdLeaks today.

The site is down at the time of writing but the main details of the leak are:
- An entry based on Norse mythology.
- Kratos returns as the main character again…. but this time with a full beard.
- Kratos will have to visit Alfheim, better known as the Land of the Fairies.
- Kratos has an axe that allows him to cut vines and create bridges.
- The game’s world will interact with Kratos.

OMFG! They finally put some colors in it! Tbh, i love GoW but i always tho the setting and the theme of the game is a bit too dark (i love it tho). Even the last of us has some great color and texture. This is really a nice change of pace.
Oh and this is a pretty cool idea as well. God of War can't just stuck with Greek mythology forever, it will make it repetitive. They need to expanded into the whole new world, the WHOLE European mythology! I just hope the fans willingly to accept new things.
Best of wishes to SCE Santa Monica.
"Kratos returns as the main character again…. but this time with a full beard." I'm buying this game on day 1.
Okay. I have no problem with a new God of War. No problem with the Norse setting either...but why Kratos still? Why is someone from Greek mythology making the jump to Norae mythology? I hope it's just a similar character, and not Kratos specifically.
When will they finally get rid of that sexual attraction for beards? That's just ugly as sh*t.
It better not be being made specifically for PS4K. It better be being made for PS4 but with variable graphics settings to take advantage of a PS4K.
It would be really stupid of them to make it a PS4K exclusive (if that even ends up being more than a rumour). The game wouldn't sell nearly as many copies and I'm sure it has a huge budget to recover!
I'm wondering what the decision to use the Norse setting will entail ? It could get complicated juggling all those gods.
Plenty of content for a new trilogy perhaps. What will be weird is explaining the transition from one mythology to the other. Why will he go after Odin in the first place?
