Today we take a look at the top 10 best-selling games for yet another platform. Last week we looked at the top 10 best-selling Wii U games in 2015 and before that the Xbox One games in 2015 and PlayStation 4. This week it's the turn of Nintendo's 8th generation handheld, the Nintendo 3DS.
The 3DS in 2015 sold 7.70 million units, a 21 percent decrease year-over-year, to bring its lifetime sales to 57.80 million units. 46.06 million games were sold at retail on the 3DS in 2015 and has now sold 225.23 million games lifetime.
The 3DS proved most successful in the US, but also sold a similar amount in Europe and Japan. It sold 2.45 million units in the US, 2.33 units in Europe, and 2.16 units in Japan.
10 games for the console in 2015 managed to sell over one million units and five games sold more than two million units. Below we've compiled a list of the 10 best-selling 3DS games:

4th. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D - 2.18 Million
3rd. Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire - 2.38 Million
2nd. Monster Hunter X - 2.54 Million
1st. Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer - 2.63 Million
