Gunmen Heading to Pokemon World Championships Thwarted - News

Local news reports that two men from Iowa - Kevin Norton and James Stumbo - were heading to the Pokemon World Championships armed with a shotgun and AR-15, several hundred rounds of ammunition, and a knife.
They were both registered to play in the tournament, but fortunately police were tipped off by the following image and intercepted the men before they arrived:
Both men have been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, and other firearm related offenses.

Good job by the tipper and the police. One can only dread the horror these guys would have unleashed on innocent people.
People will probably look at this and think America needs to sort its gunlaws... but of course these two nutjobs are being charged with unlawfully owning the guns and ammo, so laws don't mean shit to the kind of people who would think of shooting up kids playing Pokemon, I'm fairly sure there is a number of laws which say don't do that in the first place that they couldn't read.

What a sick world we live in. This is probably going to ruin the image of this tournament forever. You think anyone parent in their right mind would let their kid go there again?
Oh no... I'm so thankful that these idiots were captured in time before they did any damage! But why Pokemon?! Ugh, this is why I hate America sometimes...
it's not really all of America tho, just 2 nut cases, you don't have to live in a certain country to be insane.
