New Design for Valve's Steam Controller Leaked - News

There has been a new design for Valve's Steam Controller leaked, according to a report on ValveTime. The design is fairly similar to the last version with two touch pads, four main buttons and an analogue stick.

However, the biggest difference is what appears to be a D-pad on top or replacing the left touch pad. Valve will be at GDC 2015 to show off more about the Steam Machines, so expect the new controller to be shown there.

Valve got praise for it's controller being "diffrent" ... but now with every new revision , it's starting to slowly resemble your average controller look and feel

Looks like every controller ever. I'll never get people who worry so much over a plastic chunk with buttons on it.

"Worry" is a bit overstating it for most people who are just interested in gaming news and technology. If you play Steam games, more or less, this is legit news. But yeah, for those who indeed worry over this, they probably need to take a look in the mirror.
