Its been a long time coming but Final fantasy XIII is final here 4 whole years after its anouncment. was it worth the wait or is this just another over hyped game to join the ranks of modern gaming? the simple answer is yes. it was well worth the wait.

Presentation -

This game is quite easily one of the best looking games ever created. though the Xbox 360 vertion does suffer from  slightly less incredable graphics its still good all round on the xbox aswell.

the game consist or 2 levels of graphics. the first are the in-game. these are the graphics you will see for most of the cutscenes and all of the game. though not as higj standerd as the next level they mantain a consistantly good graphic show.

The second level of graphics the game displays are absalutualy incredable cgi cutscene. they are easily some of if not the best in the video game industry. though again the 360 vertion suffers from a lower resolution to the ps3 vertion the 360 cgi cutscenes are still superb.              10/10

Gameplay -

This is the only flaw the game has. though its a small one it is there and will put maney players down. and that is simply that the far to complicated. know for most gamers who hav ever played a final fantasy game before this should be fine but for a newcomer to the series it will be quite a shock from the generic controls most games hav these day. it can also get a little repetative sometime but in a game of this shear length that is to be expected.           9.5/10

Story -

The story in Final fantasy XIII is both simplistic an insanly hard to follow. the story itself in very simple and can be understood by almost anyone. however the actualy story that is told becomes more and more complicated as more questins are created about the past of the charecters which wont be answerd until much later in the game. an awesome story all around though if u stop playing the game for a few months when u get back u will find it much more difficult to follow the story. decpiter this its still told fantasicaly well and should not be missed for anything.        9.5/10

Value -

This is where Final fantasy XIII shines. to put it simply...its looooong. you can easily spend 50 - 60 hours on the story along and it could take you up to 150 hours to max the game out. even then there is insentive to maybe play through the story again at some point. though the side missions do tend to be rather repetative (they are literaly identicle...all...50+ or them....) there still alot of fun to particapate in.

Overall -

This is truly a fantasticc come back to the stander that final fantasy yous to be known for. with an intense story insane graphics and enough content to keep you going for months this truly shows why there is no such thing as the final fantasy.
