I love side-scrolling Metroid games, but I LOVE 3D Metroid Games. I had not played the two games that were previously for the Gamecube, Prime and Echoes. I also had not played Corruption. But now, I've beaten all three. WOW. What an amazing collection of games. This collection does include a local multiplayer, which was originally for Echoes. Both Prime and Echoes have been given Wii controls just like Corruption. I hadn't played Prime or Echoes on Gamecube, so I couldn't compare the Wii and Gamecube versions.

One awesome thing that adds a lot of value to this already gigantic collection of 3 full Metroid Prime games is unlockables. You can unlock a plethora of music, artwork, and little special things that make the games even cooler.

My only complaint is that there is no online multiplayer. The technology is there, becuase they did Wi-Fi multiplayer on Metroid Hunters for DS. Also this Trilogy already has a local multiplayer mode, so it wouldn't be hard to add multiplayer capabilities. However, this game has so much content, and is fun without local multiplayer, so it really doesn't matter that much. Especially when you consider that you are getting three full Metroid Prime games for the price of one.

Overall, great game, and one of the best values in a Nintendo video game.
