THE BEATLES ROCK BAND is a beautiful game both in terms of it's soundtrack and it's astounding visual lure. It's a game that truely does it's subject justice, but sadly it falls just short of being the triple-A title it could have been.

PROS:

Amazing Intro; and The Game looks terrific... astounding even. The character models and backdrops are amazing to behold. The venues are alive and that really hasn't been done to this level in a music game before. The interface is clean, there is a slew of trophies to obtain, and the standard rock band gameplay delivers like expected. Very good soundtrack full of classics

CONS:

Sure the game has a strong soundtrack, but many key tracks are missing. The track list is way too small and is made more disappointing when how short most of the tracks are is taken into consideration. Also, I love playing the drums, but the Fills have been taken out, making the gameplay significantly less rewarding. DLC has been announced; which begs the question "why is there none of that content IN GAME when the game is too short?" Overall, the value of the game just isn't high enough. I was playing RB2 and GH5 again in no time.

OVERALL:

Though a have a few problems with the game, as a whole, it delivers a very fun and unique experience. It's just too bad that the first rythm-game outing of the fab four couldn't be even more complete, but as it stands, TB:RB is still very much worth your time if you are a fan of the band, the genre, or music in general!
