Was able to play the game during GamesCom for around 20 minutes. I gotta say this is the first real GAME for the Wii. It feels mature and deep when it comes to the story and how the game is presented.

You play in the role of Eric Simmons, a veteran mountaineer who heads into the Himalayans to rescue his brother Frank Simmons who's gone missing on an expedition. Cursed Mountain is clearly on the cutting edge when it comes to the graphical presentation of the game. There are only a hand full of games that look on par or better than CM. From the limited time that I've had with the game I can tell that the story has received a lot of attention. As you progress - which by the way you can tell if you're moving upwards (quite a cool idea) - you learn more and more about how and why your brother seems to have dissapeared. I don't want to spoil the story for anybody but let's just say a really creative guy must have written this :)

The best thing about the game thou is the sound and the atmosphere that it creates. It isn't as scary graphically as some other titles but in terms of the sound and the environment, it's the best title i've played to this day. I didn't think something like this would be possible to have on the Wii.

Please be reminded that my impressions are limited to the 20 minutes that I've played it but from that impression this game is a must have for anybody that likes horror-adventures mixed with some survival elements.

Great idea marred by a low budget and poor execution. The game gets better toward the end (and as you master the poor controls), but I think most gamers will give up before getting there.
