In my opinion, the Gamecube versions of Super Monkey Ball were much better than this version. For some reason, it just doesn't feel as fun. First of all, the bosses were a good idea, but it didn't flow too well. The main reason this game didn't keep me hooked is that the stages weren't as good as in the Gamecube games. The new stages in this game are harder, and using the Wii Remote to move doesn't help at all. However, the stages are also much less creative. It feels like I'm almost playing the same stage over and over.
The 50 minigames is a good addition to the game, and adds lots more value. A few games are not so great, many of the games are pretty fun, but not addicting, and the rest are very good.
