story: you (cole) have a box in empire city that explodes and destrys everything in site. you wake up with super powers and after learning your ability you have to make choices that will determine if you are gonna be good or bad. depending on your choice depends on how the story goes and the powers you recieve. you guessed it, 2 different endings.
presentation: no loading is great. the comic style cutscenes are also done very well. but the no loading comes at a price. the 3 islands are hugh and everything has great detail with bumb-mapped textures and alot going on on screen at any givin time. cars, people waliking the streets ect. so there is some texture pop in and some pop up. its not that bad and its not distracting. still, its a bummer. the game is a good looking game. the sound is good for the most part. his best friend zeke is irritating but he also talks to you alot. also, your voice does not match your face. no big deal.
control: very good. cole will automatically connect with poles, wires, ledges, and other things you jump for. his animations are smooth and you will be doing some pretty cool things in no time. i wish there was more then just help missions or more variety in the side missions. you basically end up taking down enamies or useing your powers to turn on/off something.
multiplayer: none but this kind of game doesnt really need it. its a lengthy game that will need played through twice.
the competition: crackdown and prototype are very similar. crackdown is on another system but was more of a collect the ability game with a bad story. prototype is also on the PS3 but infamous is stronger in every reguard unless your a fan of overdone blood. it also gets repetitive quickly.
overall: i really dont have any complaints about infamous. the difficulty jumps all over the place and the pop up can get annoying but when i feel that zeke is the main problem i would have to say i have a AAA game on my hands,
