~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Traffic Department 2192 is a game set in the future, and possibly in
a far, far away galaxy, but we don't know that for sure. A group of
humanoid aliens, called Vultures. The vultures are an advanced race,
and have spacecrafts, and "Skids." Now skids, are just hovecraft
like cars, that have Ion cannons and missles for weapons. They used
these to conquer the galaxy (Not very friendly people, are they?)
The planet you begin on is Seche, and you are Lt. Velasquez, a
member of the Traffic Department, who is fighting the vultures
to keep the planet free, and safe from both the Vultures and any
other criminals they find.
05488 : Mission I: Operation Recon
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You begin in a hanger, in your skid talking to the Dispatcher.
Your First mission? Take out some vulture supply trucks in the city.
Here is where we first find out that Velasquez absolutely, DETESTS
working with others, when the dispatcher informs her that she has
a wingman for this mission. Velasquez does her normal "threatening"
and gets her way, getting her Hornet (The name of the skid) Cleared
for departure, without a wingman, despite her commanders orders.
Controls are standard for a '94 game. The arrows move you, down
is down, left is left, etc. Spacebar shoots your cannon. Your
OSD (On screen Display) Is fairly simple, the lower half is your
stats, including missles, armor, shields, and what not. You'll
notice a line that at the start of the mission is red near your
skid, this is your directoinal mission finder. Red means you
detroy what it is pointed at, green means you defend it, and
light blue just means you have to get there.
You have to destroy a few trucks and their escorts, followed by
some vulture patrol skids. The AI in this game isn't all that
great to begin with, so it should be fairly easy for you. The
trucks are slow and unarmed, and the vulture 1's are also slow.
They, however, are armed with two Medium Ion Cannons, same as
your hornet, so destroy them quickly.
You return from your mission to another quick round with the
dispatcher, followed by a scene with your commander. Commander
Satair, who was a friend of your fathers (Which we find out later.)
He's quite unhappy about your insubordination, and takes you off
of active duty and puts you onto training detail.
Now you have the option to do the next mission, or save it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
05489 : Mission II: Search and Destroy
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We start later that night with Velasquez in a room with the
Op Coordinator Amiel. Who she is forcing to hack into
Satair's system and re-assign her from "Nursery" detail.
Amiel finds a classified file, and Velasquez has him reassign it
to her and reassign Stryker to "nursery detail."
After you destroy the first vulture skid you're assigned to,
you will get a transmission, press f6 to view it. It's a guy
calling and asking for help, notice how your line turns green?
Defend him as best you can as he exits out the south. Now
finish off your mission by destroying the other vulture skids
you need to and returning to base. (Now is a good time for me
to mention that you don't have to return to base when it says to.
You can stay out and search the city for more vulture skids if
you want to.)
Our favorite dispatacher informs us upon our return that our
Commander would like to see us, so off we go! He's not happy,
in fact he's extremely ticked off. Angry to the point where
even Velasquez doesn't argue, simply agrees and leaves.
Now we get our first look at the Vultures! You appear to have
caugh their attention, as they ponder doing something about you.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
05490 : Mission III: Broken Wing
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Velasquez is in the hanger with the dispatcher, who informs
her that a squad of TD Members was taken by surprise in
the north quadrant, only one of the 3 survived. Montgomery,
is badly damaged and being pursued, your mission is to go
and rescue her. You're assigned a wingman, and while
Velasquez isn't happy about it, the dispatcher talks her into
taking her wingman. Go and save her, part way on your way back
You will run into a ship you haven't seen yet. This is the new
Vulture Mark II, it's faster then your hornet and equipped with
4 light Ion cannons. Take Montgomery back, then go after it.
It will escape, and tell you to go home, but don't go home yet.
Give it a short bit and your icon will turn red, indicating you
have more enemies to go kill first. Kill the vultures, and
then return to base.
There's a brief convo the with the Dispatcher, then we see
Vulture HQ again. We learn that the Mark II wasn't supposed
to be seen yet, and that the TD has it's hands on it's info.
Apparently, there's a leak in the vulture Ranks, and they
now have a splinter faction to deal with in addition to
us.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
05491 : Mission IV: Fly By Night
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We're in a briefing now, discussing the Vulture Mark II.
Nothing fancy, some brief talk, then to the hanger for
our mission briefing, it's your first Night mission!
Once you hit the streets, hit ALT to switch to your
infra-red scanners. This is a simple patrol (although it
is harder to see your line now, since the whole screen is red.)
Mission complete, hopefully, including the destruction of
your first Mark II! (Quick little buggers, aren't they?)
Vulture HQ again, we find out that Demeter was responsible
for the splinter faction, and he has made his move and
"Flown the vulture nest" and is probably on his way to
us for protection from his former employers.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
05492 : Mission V: Attitude Adjustment
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We start in the quarters of Velasquez, and note that she
is dreaming of her father's death. She wakes up, and goes
to the Op Coordinator's room later that night to find out
who killed her father. Recognize him? That's Commander
Moloch, we saw him earlier talking with the Vulture Colonel.
Koth comes to get Velasquez to inform her that Satair wants
to see them, some sort of escort mission.
We meet Demeter, remember him? He's the leader of the
Splinter Faction from Vulture, called E.G.G. He hits on
Velasquez, and she knocks him out cold. He wakes up 3
hours later, and finds out that Velasquez is his escort out
of the city, needless to say he's pretty scared.
You'll note that Demeter is piloting a stingray, an unarmed
Civilian ship, so he'll really need your help. He'll go
South, and after a few vulture encounters, he'll message you
hit f6 to view it, and he'll say the souther exit is to
heavily guarded. So he runs like a coward to the east gate.
Escort him there, kill any left-over vultures, and return
TD HQ.
We get back, the dispatcher hits on Velasquez, she insults
and turns him down. Now we're back at Vulture HQ.
We find out that Moloch intends to eliminate Velasquez.
The Vulture Mark II's shields are set for another test, and
he intends to test it on Velasquez.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
05493 : Mission VI: Pair of Aces
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We start in the TD hanger. The normal thing with the
Dispatcher ensues, and he clears us, informing us it's just
a normal run-about mission. Destroy some vultures, come home.
This is the first time you will be piloting the Stiletto. My
personal favorite ship! It's faster then the Hornet, and is
equipped with 4 light ion cannons, and more missles. Hit
the Insert Key, or the large plus plus on your numeric keypad.
After you leave the hanger, you'll note you want to go west
and some north. Shortly after leaving, Moloch will send you
a transmission. Kill him, then the rest of the vultures
including the 3 in the southeast. Return to base.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
05494 : Mission VII: Enemy Mine
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We start in the Vulture Command Institute. The Colonel is
talking to esteemed Vulture scientest, Dr. Ramses, both of
them (twins.) He's not happy that the shields failed with
Moloch, when you killed him. Their latest invention, and
the new vulture plan, is to coat the city with special mines.
These special mines will detonate when a skid passes over
them unless the skid has a special device to ID itself.
Obviously, the vulture skids will have this, but civilian and
TD skids won't. Not a fun thought.
6 hours later, Satair is brefieng Velasquez, and informs her
that E.G.G. has provided TD with the info and schematics on
the mines. Neither the hornets nor stilettos are fast enough
to avoid the explosion or sensor, so you will have to shoot
down the mines as you go throughout the city to vape the
trucks laying them, stopping this new vulture plan.
Once you exit the hanger, go south to the highway. Once
there, turn west. I recommend you hold down your fire key
so your constantly firing your Ion cannons. This way you
won't accidently run over any mines. After that, follow
the red arrow and destroy the rest of the mines and vultures
in the city. There's some to the south, and then to the
north.
A brief discussion/insult fest with the dispatcher ensues
upon your return, as always, followed by a dissapointed
Colonel in his newest (now ex) commanders abilities, it
seems you once again eliminated him! The scientists,
however, say that their newest invention/surprise is
almost ready.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
05495: Mission VIII: One Fell Swoop
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It seems that TD intercepted a coded transmission, the
vulture's are transporting some moloton bombs for spice
mining. We suspect that E.G.G. may try and get their hands
on them for future terrorist exploits. Your job is to blow
up the trucks before E.G.G. gets their hands on them.
More complaining by Velasquez about having a wingman, and
Satair insists. Somewhat surprisingly, Koth comes to her
rescue and says that the two of them can take it out, they
Don't need Kendrick.
You'll go to the highway, then west. Don't turn when your
light tells you to, because there's 3 skids waiting for you.
Instead, go past to the next turn, then double back behind
them and wipe them out. Follow your arrows and wipe out
the trucks and V1 (Vulture 1) Skids. In the lower right
hand corner you'll see text scroll by that 2 V2's
have entered from the west. On the way, you'll get
an incoming transmission. Hello, what's this? It's
Moloch! Or..maybe a clone? In any case, you and him talk
then you destroy him, or rather, both of them since there
is two, then return to base.
The dispatcher informs you that Satair and "Lt. Commander
White" are waiting for you in Satair's office. Apparently,
White has the personality of a sandshark.
Velasquez informs them of the cloning technology, and we
also find out that the trucks weren't carrying anything.
Probably a ploy to get us to do just what we did so
E.G.G. would be mad at us, thus making us have 2 enemies
instead of one, making life easier for the Vultures.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
05496: Mission IX: Egg in your Face
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We begin in Satair's office. We're still talking about the
last mission where we angered E.G.G. now they're not talking
to us. Satair issues new orders to avoid engaging E.G.G.
skids unless they attack first, with the threat that if
she doesn't, he'll send her to E.G.G. with a side of bacon
and a formal apology.
Back in the hanger with the dispatcher, he informs us that
there are four vulture radar trucks patrolling the city.
Probably looking for the E.G.G. base. He also informs us
that none of the other officers want to fly with us, we're
a "health hazard." (Finally! I don't know about you, but I
agree with Velasquez, I hate wingmen, they always get in my
way!)
Soon after you hit the streets, you get a transmission from
the E.G.G. Squad leader, Frank Marko, requesting assistance
in taking out the Vulture Radar Trucks. Velasquez denies
his request, and informs him she is going take out any
vultures she sees, so he better keep his skids out of her
sights! Your hornet is far superior to anything the
vultures throw at you this mission, so follow your red line
and destroy every vulture you see, you don't get any
penalties for wiping out E.G.G. skids, just more confirmed
kills!
A brief talk with the dispatcher about how you made some new
enemies, and now we're at vulture command!
The vultures captured Frank Marko, and are torturing him for
information using chemicals.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
05497: Mission X: Scrambled Eggs
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Vulture ships are moving in on the E.G.G. Headquarters, they
know where it is due to their torture of Frank Marko.
The Vulture colonel is talking to his strike leader, a Major.
The Major vows to hunt down and kill any survivors of E.G.G.
Himself. Now, back to TD headquarters, 3 hours later, in the
briefing room. Satair announces that our mission is to
escort E.G.G. sympathizers to the city limits, Velasquez, of
course, calls out to let the vultures have them. He
tells you that you will be piloting a hornet, with Koth as
your wingman. Velasquez complains about getting him as a
wingman, and Satair responds with "you're coldblooded. You
can relate."
Now the mission starts, as usual follow the red line and destroy
and vultures you see, the line will take you North, and somewhat
west. Shortly after leaving HQ, you will get an incoming
message from Major Dispator, leader of the vultures hunting
down E.G.G. He tells you not to interfere. You of course,
tell him that you're orders involve killing him, and he
announces that his skid has a full SIX inches of extra
armor plating.
You'll have to take out a few vulture I's, and then you'll
confront the Major. I recommend you take missles to him
and be careful, since he's quite a bit faster then your
hornet. After you wipe him out, the mission should be
complete, return to HQ and congratulate yourself
on another well done mission!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
05498: Mission XI: Stiletto Heels
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We start in the Vulture Command office, and the Colonel is not happy
that all the E.G.G.s haven't been found and eliminated yet. Major
dispater says he will, but needs more pilots, it seems that we've
done a good job hitting the vultures! We find out here that the
colonel is apparently sexist, and he informs the Major that he will
find somebody more...skilled, to take care of Velasquez, he needn't
trouble himself any further.
At the TD Shooting range, Velasquez is practicing her gunnery skills.
The dispatcher pops up on her view screen, and after the normal brief
interlude between the two of them, he informs her that there are
some free-lance mercs piloting stolen stilettos out there vaping TD
officers. Lt. Commander white seems to think that they were stolen
From Vultanova. Somewhat surprisingly, Velasquez asks for some wingmen.
Don't worry, they'll be in hornets so you won't confuse them with the
mercenaries. Now, out you go to eliminate vultures and mercs!
The stilettos will be to the west, on the highway. Remember they're
exactly the same ship as you, so try to use your missles on them to
kill them before they can cause you to much damage. After you eliminate
them, the Major will come in from the south in a V2, go vape him. He
should be fairly easy.
You will get a message during your fight with dispater that you don't
have to engage him, and to return to base. Ignore it and vape him, then
return to base.
We see the Vulture command center again, with the Colonel talking to..
dispater? More clones, those vultures just don't know when to stop, do
They? Or perhaps he managed to eject, in any case, the Colonel gets
rid of him, and puts one Commander Belial in charge now.
Then we find out that Amiel is a spy for the vultures, and Colonel
tells him to ensure that Velasquez is off the streets.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
05499: Mission XII: Clipped Wings
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Amiel apparently messed with our psyche report, and Satair has
to pull Velasquez off the streets.
Velasquez, later on that night, goes to the OP room to assign
herself to helicopter recon, Amiel wakes up and protests.
25 radians later (which I believe are minutes) velasquez is in the
helicopter, and Satair pops up on her viewscreen.
This is possibly the hardest mission in the entire game, you have to
defend a whole batch of trucks from the vultures, and you're in a
helicopter, so you don't have to worry about the buildings.
First thing you do, is completly ignore the convoy. If you stay with
them for this mission, you will fail. Instead, head south to the
highway, then fly west until you encounter a V2, it will head south
vape it and the two V1's you encounter, making the V1's your first
priority since they attack first. After you've vaped these 3, return
to the convoy and protect it from the lone V1 left, and you SHOULD be
able to complete the mission. Missles are your best bet here, since
helicopters are equipped with quite a few.
Upon return to the HQ, you'll find out that they're angry. (it's
almost as if you failed the mission, which is exactly what Safari
expected you to do. So it really doesn't matter whether you're
succesful or not.)
Seems Satair plans to put you on a LONG vacation. Meanwhile, Amiel
is talking with Wolstencroft.
Now we get our first introduction to the Robot Bartender, Screwdriver!
Velasquez is at the bar, drinking, probably trying to forget about
being taken off active-duty, and losing her security clearance.
We get a brief story about Velasquez's father, and how screwdriver
knew him.
Two weeks later, White and Satair are discussing the current situation.
They lost two more officers on patrol last night, and it seems there
are less vultures on the street, they're up to something! Satair is
considering putting Velasquez back on the streets, but white disagrees
she doesn't think enough time has passed yet.
Seems it doesn't matter, however, because later that night, in
Velasquez's room, a thin hum fills the air, and Velasquez vanishes!
Now we're in the vulture institute, and it seems something IS up,
they're talking about mind manipulation, the colonel and one Dr.
Ramses. Vulture Lt. Col Velasquez, reporting for duty sir!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
05500: Mission XIII: A pressing engagement.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We begin with Colonel Wolstencroft talking with Lt. Colonel Velasquez,
asking if she knows who he is.
It seems despite the mind manipulation, you can't take the attitude out
of Velasquez, as she is still full of it when talking to Belial before
her mission. It seems this will be a timed mission, as if you don't
come back in a certain amount of time, your skid will explode. You'll
have to eliminate a few stingrays, a couple of stilettos, and 3 hornets.
Piloting a V2, this should not be a problem. Follow the red line, and
use your Ion pulsers to vape them.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
05501: Mission XIV: Piece of Mind
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We start in TD HQ, with Satair discussing with White about Velasquez
being part of the vultures. White wants to deal with you, Satair
wants to get you back.
Now we're back in Vulture HQ, in the scientist labs with Dr. Ramses.
They're purging your memory, you will no longer be the Velasquez
we all know and loved...or hated, whichever it is.
2 hours later, Velasquez wakes up. If you're paying attention, you'll
notice that under her picture it does NOT say Lt. Colonel Velasquez, but
just "Lt. Velasquez" .. her TD Rank! Seems vulture technology can't
take care of Marta Velasquez so easily! She breaks free of it, and of
whatever restraints were holding her in the laboratory, seems you stabbed
ramses with a syringe, took his ID card, overrode security in the hanger
and have disabled the timebomb on your ship, and escaped!
Upon exiting, you'll have to quickly vape two V1's and a V2, not a problem
since you're in a V2. After that, follow the red-line towards TD HQ. You
will get a message from Striker, who will radio TD HQ and clear your ship
for landing. Vape whatever vultures you haven't, and then return to TD
HQ!
Satair wants you to be studied, since you're ... defection, and you
Certainly don't seem like the Velasquez that he's come to know. You tell
Dr. Weathers the next day that you resisted the vulture mind erasure, but
you don't know how. It seems you sacrafice the memory of your father's
death to the machine, to save the rest of your memories.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
05502: Mission XV: A Matter of Trust
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We begin in the Vulture Command area, two days later. Wolstencroft and
Ramses are talking. It seems that General Kreel is on his way here, so
no vengance can be attempted at this time. Wolstencroft also hints
that he'll be going after Satair next.
Back at TD HQ, Satair is talking with Velasquez, and tells her he isn't
ready to put her back on the streets just yet. We now meet one Lt.
Cartel, who is apparently Velasquez's temporary replacement. She's just
as big of a, well, you know, as Velasquez. However, Velasquez somehow
overrides Satair's judgement, and we get a combat mission.
Your job this time, is to pilot the helicopter again, and take out
the skids guarding the trucks. The first convoy comes in from the
north highway entrance, fly there and vape them quick, since they can't
hit you it should be fairly easy.
The second convoy is coming from the west, fly to that entrance and
vape them, same thing here, you can't die, so pretty easy. Return to
base.
Upon returning to the base, Velasquez seeks out Satair, and finds
him in the bar, here we find out more about her father and Satair.
Next, Amiel transports Satair out of the HQ, and probably right
Back to the VCI. (Vulture Command Institute)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
05503: Mission XVI: The Nemesis
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Satair is in the VCI labs, talking with Ramses. Shortly thereafter,
Kreel arrives and talks with Wolstencroft, we now have the distint
DISpleasure of watching Satair executed, on live TV.
Afterwards, back at TD HQ Velasquez is talking with White about how
they got Satair. White attempts to remove us from investigation,
pending the investigation. We get Cartel as a wingman for this
mission, lucky us! Our mission is to vape Vulture Ion Convoys
and any vulture skids we encounter.
Head south, and almost immediatly you should run into a V2, vape it
and follow the red line south-southwest, to the southern
highway, where three trucks will be coming, vape them and move on
to the east entrance. Ignore the V1 and V2 you encounter, go
straight to the trucks and vape them, since they're going to
the northern base.
Upon return to HQ, we go to the VCI, and it seems that Amiel
has a little surprise for us.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
05504: Mission XVII: Defenses Down
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Remember when I said that heli mission was the hardest one? Well this
is the 2nd hardest one.
We begin in TD HQ, to find that an unauthorized Hornet has been
granted security clearance to leave the hanger, I wonder if that's
Amiel?
Use your afterburners, and quickly reach and vape the hornet that
Amiel is piloting! Since you're in a Stiletto, it should not be
a problem at all. Upon defeat of Amiel, you will receive a
transmission from TD HQ, Amiel's surprise seems to be the sealing of
the TD hanger doors, and the dropping of the Ion Defense screen, so
you have to fly back and defend the base from any vultures that are
coming to destroy it!
Completely IGNORE the red line, don't go chasing after skids, defend
the hanger at ALL costs. If you think you've got the skills, you can
go first to the south entrance, and vape the two skids coming in there.
This is where the problem starts, the next skids are two coming in from
the east, AND one coming in from the west, I recommend afterburning
straight to the HQ and defending it as they come, with missles.
After those 3, you have 3 V1's coming in from the south entrance.
You're to far away to get there in time to vape them all at once, so
stay near the base and take them as they come. After these 3 get
vaped, the mission is complete, so head into the hanger.
The first thing you do upon your return? Head to the bar. It seems
with Satair's death, the old angry, kill everything in sight,
Velasquez has returned.
One more failure for Wolstencroft, and Kreel will be replacing him,
it seems.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
05505: Mission XVIII: Time Bomb
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It seems one of our dear doctors has escaped. Back at TD HQ, what
a surprise, Cartel and Velasquez are arguing like there's no tomorrow.
It seems that Ramses has not just escaped, but defected! A new
startling revelation as well, they're not brothers, but clones!
There are 3 trucks for you to take out, when you get near the right one,
you'll get a transmission telling you he's activated the timer. You
Will only have 30 seconds to eliminate the truck before the bomb
explodes! So follow the red line, and vape all vultures you see. Since
trucks are unarmed, this should be a fairly easy mission for you. I
Don't think it matters what order you get the trucks in, the last one
you fight will be the one with the bomb so, good luck! Upon completion
return to HQ as usual.
Kreel shoots Wolstencroft, and takes command of the city himself.
However, a clone of Bram Wolstencroft is being developed...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
05506: Mission XIX: The Vulture's Nest
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3 days later, in the TD HQ, we find out that we plan to vape the
entire Vulture base using information given to us by ramses.
You will pilot a truck to the base, plant a bomb, and escape in a V2.
Do NOT engage anything in the V2, you'll have SEVERELY reduced armor,
as in if your shields go down, you die, so just fly back to base.
Quick and easy, since the VCI isn't far from TD HQ.
Upon completion of the mission, you'll have to take a helicopter
out to attack the VCI.
Fly away, and your helicopter explodes! YOU'VE BEEN SABOTAGED!
Now, you are a cyborg, part woman, part machine, thanks to Dr. Ramses.
Kreel, in space, decides to launch a lander class ship to vape us and
the city.

05507: Mission XX: Mean Machine
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It seems, during your rebuilding, you were "reactivated" once, and you
twisted Carters head off, so, not a total loss I suppose. Although
Velasquez isn't to happy about this.
Here we go, for a final mission, this is pretty easy. Head to the
highway that travels north, fly to where it becomes just a straight
line with no turns, then turn left (i prefer the left side, either
side will do) Turn so you are facing the highway, and wait for the
lander. Basically, avoid the main cannons of the lander, hit it
in the head, or cockpit, with everything you've got. When the cockpit
moves below you, go south to the next open spot, wait, repeat until
the blasted thing is spacedust! It should only take 4-5 times to do
this.
After the mission, you're back in the TD labs, with Dr. Ramses.
You talk with him, then with white, specifically about who sabotaged
your chopper. Although White doesn't believe it was sabotage, we do!
Later, in your quarters, whoever it was who sabotaged your chopper
Admits it, then shoots you.
