In order to get an easy open shot, just do a head fake. You can do this by quickly pressing the shoot button. DON'T HOLD THE BUTTON! If you do then he'll shoot. If you are on the Rookie level it will work all the time. But if you're on the superstar level then it will only work on players that have a defensive awareness rating of 95 and lower. Example: Players like Jordan, and Scottie Pippen who has an defensive awareness rating of about 97 or 98 will almost never go for the fake Be patient, sometimes (on the Superstar level) it takes a couple of tries. But mostly everyone goes for it.
