When you collect skulls(gold, silver or otherwise) in story mode, keep in mind you can't start from a checkpoint, or else the skulls won't appear. start every level at the START OF THE MISSION, but take your time. it is not the end of the world if you get hit by a lot of lasers, crushed, impaled, blown up, or run over. if any of this does happen, bungie was nice enough to make most of the skulls near checkpoints so you can continue if you get OWND. I did not put them in order, but i put them into which ones i thought were easy to hard, top to bottom. I'll add more skulls as i remember where they are.

| Mythic, Gives Enemies Double Health (Mission: Halo) | When you start, hug the right wall till you find a tunnel. follow the tunnel and look down once you reach the end. the skull should be right there. |
| Grunt Birthday Party, Grunt Heads Explode With Confetti From Headshots.(mission: Crow's Nest) | After you face the drones, you will (eventually) come up to a blue tunnel with red pipes. at the end of the tunnel, there is a long drop to the ground into a floor covered fan. slowly go over, but as soon as you fall, pull back. there should be a skull sitting in wait for you. |
| Tilt, Improves Enemy Armor Greatly (Mission: Cortana) | About Halfway through the mission, there is a BIG purple room......another......ye a....sort of hard to explain...but anyways, once you reach the room, you need to jump on a purple column and jump to some rocks. make a long jump up to a broken purple-ship piece, and it is there you will find the skull. |
