Scammers are players who will use their hacking program (mostly F***-PSO made by Rare Sumo) and "Inventory Scan" you. If they say you have a crappy or nice weapon and/or armor without you showing your stuff in trade, this is where you must act quickly. You will ask this user to leave the Trade Room or report this player to a GM on the forums (in a specific private server).
There is another way people can scam you. If they say "their trade window is NOT working," most players fall for this too easily, you must act quickly and say "no" to that player. If they insult for not believing in their FAKE truth, then report this player to the GM immediately. Before you report, open the Trade Window with that user. If he or she gets the Trade Window open successfully, then you can trade with that user.
Be careful when there are 2 people in your Trading Room. One will try to distract you and say his trade window doesn't work and asks for "DROP TRADE." Once someone distracts you, the other user will have a hacking trainer open (the F***-PSO or something related to that) and use "WALK THROUGH WALLS." Now, if you haven't noticed, the person who's hiding will take the item and run. That also goes for who asked for the drop trade. You must be aware of this and don't trust anyone with drop trades at all.
Now, if you see an item, like ADEPT, check its Kill Count before accepting it. If it doesn't have the correct Kill Count, you have the right to deny it and report this player immediately. This also goes for hackers who have 255 Photon Spheres and or Photon Drops/Crystals in their inventory. Normally you can carry those 99 each character. Do not accept their deal; once you accept, they will disappear as you disconnect.
On SCHTHACK Private Server, Blacklisted Items cannot be traded. If you see anyone selling or trading one, act quickly by entering their rooms and tell them not to sell or trade Blacklisted Items. IF! If they don't care and is willing to, then you have no choice but to report them. Harsh it may be but the Administrator and Staffs of SCHTHACK, Lee and the GMs, are tired of hackers hacking these stuff. You can check out the Blacklisted Items here.
Now you know. When trading stuff, check on the user before trading. Happy trading.
