Easy identification

After defeating the Gang before the bridge of Shrowded Hills, you normally would go down across the bridge and fight a Gnome who asks your character for the ring on Preston (the man at the start of the game that dies in front of you). The Gnome is across from Rizetes Store and on the way to Doc Robets. When you talk to him, if you kill him he will not show up on the end of the bridge. Instead, you fight a villager that has a sword and the hexagon-shaped necklace that enemies have.
