This cheat worked for me and i'm not making this up, it should also work for others. Ok, first of, let the player wake up from his dream, get him/her up and go to the phone. Ignore what the grumpy old lady says like to fix the tv and stuff.... Order a pizza, but as soon as your player starts talking or the guy on the phone is heard on the phone, hang up. Then go to buy mode, and sell the 3 pictures of the flowers hung up by the bathroom door. Go back into gameplay, and in a few minutes the phone should ring. Answer it and it should say: "Your rich grandmother needs to reduce the size of her estate immediately. You get 1100!" You do actually get it, and you have enough to complete an objective. Now just fix the tv and cook dinner, get a job and thats you!
