Defeating Dr. Wily in the final battle
Many weapons will not work against Dr. Wily during the final battle. Only two are effective -- the Pharaoh Shot and Ring Boomerang. The Pharaoh Shot works the best. You can charge it up (B) and release it in six directions. Also, when it is charged up you can run into Dr. Wily with the power-up shot above your head, then shoot it again (release B). You will be able to defeat Dr. Wily with the Ring Boomerang, but it takes a lot longer and you cannot miss him at all. Once Dr. Wily is defeated, the game will end.

As long as you follow the weakness guide this game is actually pretty damn easy for a megaman game even if you don't have save states it shouldn't be too hard beating the robot masters
