Ribbon Road: Shortcut
In Ribbon Road on Star Cup, get to the first ramp. Hit the turbo in front of the ramp then hit the ramp. Make a hard right and hit the second track to the left. Then, hold Right until you stop bouncing and you will be ahead of the other racers.

You can skip about one quarter of the course by using a mushroom boost immediately before the boost/jump and turning right so that you hit the road in the distance. This may take some practice.

For some reason, either this or Double Dash is my favorite Mario Kart. Just have a lot of great memories of playing this on an old, pink GBA, back when I was younger and could hardly afford any games.

i prefer this over the N64 version, mario kart ds is the best MK in my opnion

Being the worst Mario Kart game is like being the ugliest Victoria's Secret model.

I don't know if this is common knowledge, but all the original tracks from Super Mario Kart are unlockable in this game. So it has 40 total tracks; more than any other MK.
