Pirate Isle: Extra money
Face Vyce's house, and to the left is a tombstone. Observe it closely to notice that it looks strange at the center. Press A next to it and the tombstone will open. You will be on the underground base in a special area. There is a treasure chest that contains some money there.

(Preface: I haven't finished an RPG in about 10 years.) This game was so good I couldn't put it down. I had purchased it back when it first came out and my Dreamcast died so I never got the chance to play it until recently. Once I started I didn't stop and I relived the glory days of good RPGs.
