Getting Cliff A Job
To get Cliff to stay in town, you have to get him a job. Specifically, a job at the winery. To do this, on Fall 14th when Duke comes to ask you to help harvest, say you will. He tells you to bring a friend to help. So, later that day, find Carter and talk to him. He requests that you take Cliff with you to help out. Find Cliff at his main locations, either at the Church or in his room in the hotel. Talk to him and get him to join you the next day. At 10:00 Fall 15th, go to the winery and talk to Duke. You will pick the grapes (but you don't ACTUALLY get the pick them) and Duke will hopefully give Cliff a job. After that you can continue with the scenes.
