It does, indeed, seem like one of those telemarketing ads. I really don't understand why people would purchase a 'game' to practice yoga... buy a DVD, it's cheaper. Better yet, go to classes as I'm sure it's more effective and undoubtedly more sociable.

@Faxanadu: I, for one, am actually glad Montana is a mod here. His seemingly anti-Nintendo (I could be wrong, just going off of Fax's assertions) attitude slightly balances the countless Nintendo-biased mods here.

The game is being sold on the premise that it'll help people get fit and lose weight. Neither of which will be found to be true. The game will logically have limited health value. As a result the game, and thus Nintendo, are being highly deceptive with this title.

This game is essentially taking advantage of people concerned about the "obesity epidemic", which to me seems rather sad.

Nintendo's simply taking advantage of the fact that many consider the Wii a console that makes you get off the couch and move a little bit! WiiSports was a perfect example of that.

I know I've said it before but why not?

This game reeks like a telemarketing advertisement, and is likely to be about as successful at inducing fitness. It's sad that gaming has resorted to blatantly taking advantage of gullible people.

@Montana: There you go again. Well done. Endless Ocean, this. Now just start a thread "Why wii suxxxx". Absolutely pathetic. Way to go for a mod.

Why dont you look at it like this: with the PS3 you can play games or watch movies and use it a teh media center of teh future. With the wii you can play games and get a workout. I for one know I will be using it each day as a workout machine. Then afterwards i will sit down and play my games. Dont look at it as a game but rather one of the "extensions" that PS3 claims wii doesnt have. This might put you a bit at ease.

If not, you can always go back to the corner and cry.
